So, it turns out the dealer simply had NO IDEA what he was talking about. What a surprise, right?
Told me the 2017 model year dropped the bigger engine.
However it would be off my list because it's (cabin) noisy as shit (even with summer tires), and later that same day I drove the 2017 A4 which is literally one of the quietest cars ever made. Not to mention quick, and while I don't like the aesthetics of the new dash - that crazy big horizontal slab, the actual functionality was FANTASTIC. The screens, the dial cluster screen thing, Android AND Apple support.
I fell in love. Only thing that I didn't like dynamically was steering response, which was great at low speeds but felt a little soupy at 70+. Still responsive, just weird.
Car is also WAY bigger than I expected, and incredibly comfortable and harmonious.
Last Audi I owned was a 90! 5 cylinder freakshow, which I loved. Not buying right away, but if I do, the 2017 A4 is a dream.

I drove through Colorado for the first time about 3 months ago. You're gonna love it! Gorgeous views around every corner. I still need to hit up Big Sur. Was planning a drive up the coast from Orange County earlier this year, but the weather did not cooperate.
Don't want to make that drive, but American Airlines tickets to DFW were available for like $35 last week. lol
You getting a 718? The Boxsters are out now. Have you taken one for a drive? I'm thinking about testing one just for comparison purposes.

I'd personally never own another Audi after owning 3 (my father has the 4th now, which is his 1st owning it without me and he's getting tired of them too. He wants a Jag next).
They have an awful dealer experience (some people can back me up), terrible service bay staff, and their reliability is rather shit too.
WRC Evo X is listed as his XBL account in his NeoGAF profile. I checked, because I figured that didn't seem like it was necessarily a unique name.
Speaking of racists and dealership experiences, did I mention the guy who showed me around my ATS when I picked it up used the N-word when referring to rap music? Guess that's what happens when you buy a car in middle Georgia.

That's definitely Evo's Forza account, I see his drivatar a lot in the open world but I've never seen his drivatar use that car nor have I seen his level that low. IIRC, he's somewhere above level 50 or something.
Anyway, isn't that one of the really early races in the game? I'm pretty sure that happens within the first hour of the game, it might even be the first race as soon as you're done driving around with the Lambo at the start so that could be why his level is low, though doesn't explain why he's using that car lol.
Oh god now I'm wondering how people see my drivatar in the open world.
I drive like a BMW driver in-game...

I loaded up the game and found Evo in an Evo lol.
Funny enough, the game considers him to be a "average drivatar" which obviously shouldn't be the case coz he's level 103 while I'm at level 29.

I'm still debating between the 718 or BMW 440i when that launches in the states. I still have my Tesla M3 on reserve but I think I'm going to cancel as I'm not really a fan of what they've shown so far. I'm learning toward the 718 Cayman at the moment as I'm not really a convertible kind of guy.

That's awesome. Can't wait for Horizon 3. I'm sure you can tell by my level that I love the game.
As for the drivatars, I think the game just has random people from your friends list driving around the map and adjusts difficulty on the fly. I've raced average and highly skilled versions of the same person.
They are totally different cars. The 718 is a mid-engined, lightweight sports coupe, and the 440i is a sporty 4 seater. It depends on what you value. The Porsche is going to be the purer driving experience, even with a turbo 4 banger. Whereas the BMW will be more of a fun daily touring car you can fit your friends in.
I know what I'd choose, but your priorities might be different. Go drive them back to back if you can.

I personally disable liveries in all the Forza games. Most of them are garish and ugly. Prefer clean factory paint.

So guys i Recently bought a new black malibu. Its just 1 month old and there are strange small spots on the paint . Even after washing the car they don't go away. Its no whole mark just a small circles on some places. I don't know what it is and how to remove it.
I would add that these marks appear after I didn't washed the car for 4-5 days and there were dew drops all over the car at night

I think I had something similar to what you're describing on my car in Dubai and it's because of the sand/dust. It shows up on dark cars (my car was a dark blue) but not so much on lighter cars.
Do you wax your car or have paint protection of any sort? If not you need to start waxing or invest in getting paint protection at a reputable garage. The sand/dust is hard on cars out here and you need to do what you can to protect your car or the paint will look like shit after just a couple of years.

Nah you need to start waxing as soon as you have to start washing it in this kind of environment. It creates a barrier to protect your paint from the sun and sand.

I'm in high desert, with sub 0 farenheit temps in the winter. Plus the roads get sanded with cinder.

Speaking of Ferrari, I drove this 458 earlier today.
So damn raw. That engine and exhaust are insane. Truthfully speaking, I think I preferred it to the Huracan and Aventador as a driving experience. Couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Feels so alive in your hands. Probably down to the lightweight, RWD, and quicker steering ratio. I want one so bad.
Sweet. That's a great place to own cars like these. You guys ever go out on drives? I got a buddy with a E92 M3 around here I do cruises and track days with.

Interesting, I hope they get it more realistic for FH3.
I know that a lot of my friends see my drivatar driving a red NC Miata with gold wheels, which is of course my most driven car in the game, but I'm apparently just an average drivatar even though the car is an S1 Class car lol.

Stopped by the store and noticed this older couple looking at me. Didn't think much of it and I get out and they say "Did you just get out of that BMW"? Now my first instinct in this situation is to auto assume racism, because Texas, but naw. They said it's their dream car, it's beautiful, etc. I talked to them for maybe 5 mins or so, and we went out ways.
