I agree with number 1.
The integra Type R is my favorite car ever!
I regret selling mine...I had the rarer championship white too.....
Anyone who buys a new Cayman over this is officially a madman. The performance figures on the new TT RS are staggering.
Love the simplicity of the new interior since the screen is now in the dashboard instrument cluster instead of fucking up the asthetics of the interior. Also, start stop button on the steering wheel in true supercar fashion? Yes please.
I'll take it in green please.
I would be so paranoid owning one but yeah this is one of my favorite cars ever....and they never really lost value.
I'll take mine in yellow
I don't know about a TT RS over a new Cayman. It depends on why you want it. The Cayman still has the option of a manual gearbox and still has the better chassis in terms of feel and dynamics, especially while cornering. For a weekend toy I would still lean towards the Cayman.
For a really fast daily driver that also happens to look and sound amazing then yeah, the TT RS makes a lot of sense.
Nah, Cayman >>>>> TTRS. Especially in looks and interior. Hate the new TT interiors. Basic as fuck.
Old Cayman, yes. New 4-pot turbo Cayman? No way.
If you're getting tail happy on public roads you need to take a good look at yourself.
As long as it still drives like an Audi/VW, no fucking thank you. I get people who want the best performance period, but I need the car to speak to me.Old Cayman, yes. New 4-pot turbo Cayman? No way.
And yeh, I look at cars from the perspective of what it would be like to use on public roads, because let's be frank, that's where we all do 99% of our driving. For me it's about having fun in a safe way while making a hell of a noise.

Seemingly good E39 M5 on Bringatrailer: http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-bmw-m5-3/

You don't need to get tail happy or drive hard to feel the basic driving dynamics.
You also have to remember, not everyone lives in the flat desert. Most of the people here have some sort of back country roads within close driving distance.
Suck it Evo X!
Sidenote: FH3 IMO, might be the best racing of all time. The cars in the game feel like a 90% FM6 and 10% Horizon and it just feels fncking awesome to play.
I wasn't planning to get the ultimate edition at first but I feel like I have to now... it's ridiculously good!
It just needs Mighty Car Mods and this game will definitely be the GOAT.
Ya, I hope I don't go crazy on the bidsMan I would love to have an E39 M5.
Have you tried it with a controller? How is it? I remember Forza 6 being nearly unplayable in the faster cars on a controller.
I wouldn't say that necessarily. I have played a metric fuckton of Forza 6 and while the fast cars can be a handful, it isn't that bad really. Just lots and lots of practice modulating the triggers. The FFB triggers help a TON with that though.

Someone tell me why I shouldn't buy this widebody 550whp NSX.
80s and early 90s cars are starting to get deep nostalgia appeal. I'm seeing more and more pics of big name hip hop artists rolling in cars like an early 90s Mercedes 500SL coupe. The cars they dreamed of when they were kids but couldn't afford, same as the kids who dreamed of muscle cars.
I started working on a list of 90s cars I think will blow up in value. Right now I think my #1 is the Acura Integra Type R. They've already been coveted for a long time and they've suffered horrible attrition due to both being wrecked as well as being enormous targets for thieves. #2 is the MKIV Toyota Supra, for obvious reasons.
I excluded the 993 because let's face it, it's already blown up in value.
American 90s cars I see blowing up: 1993 Mustang Cobra and Cobra R. Corvette ZR-1. Anything done by Lingenfelter before John died.

Umm.. that's not the time I set. You just beat a drivatar that had a 2013 Mustang, while you were using a 2016 350R. LOL
But yeah, Horizon 3 is epic. Was playing online multiplayer last night with 7 people and had a blast.
Gonna be a hard choice to play it on Xbox using the crazy Home Theater setup or 4K/60 on PC.

Haha love it. To be fair, even when I go back to the UK eventually I would still have a preference towards AWD performance/sports cars because of the fact that the B roads can get very very slippery when it's wet (which is most of the time). I'd want a car that would be great fun point to point but not unusable approaching the limit for 80% of the year.the roads here are boring
Looks like I'm on my own with this one. Maybe I'd be a hairdresser in another life.
How about first gen Vipers? Any Trans Ams or Camaros good enough to get the same kind of attention as a Cobra R?
I don't really like the whole speculative layer to vehicle ownership. I can kind of get that as vehicles rise in value, people take better care of them, and that those of us fortunate enough to have money to drop on a nostalgia trip can end up with a really great example.
At the same time, it's kind of infuriating that great drivers cars are more or less end up locked away and toted out for the occasional car show but never really driven. I guess my only solace is that for every person playing that game successfully, there's plenty more who bought a car under the pretense of appreciation potential but end up barely enjoying it and selling it for a loss.
60fps cap on PC? I don't know anything about it yet.Really? Seems to me PC is the way to go.
Judging by the Lambo Centenario, it's perfectly fine.
The handling is what I was talking about when I said 90% FM6 and 10% Horizon. It's arcadey, in that drifts are very easy to hold(unlike FM6) but for the most part drives like a sim(or at least FM6).
I'm gonna try another car tonight, coz I had the GT350R last night, and IIRC you can choose between an M series, Silvia Spec-R, and a Holden Maloo.
Haha I know. I'm just making some jokes.
I'm definitely getting it for Xbone since my PC can't even play Doom at low settings and 1080p30 lol.
Gonna have to try online sometime tonight. I was just having fun doing donuts with my GT350R last night.
Really? Seems to me PC is the way to go.

I don't know F-Bodies that well but the 1989 Turbo Trans Am immediately comes to mind. GNX power train in the F-Body chassis. Only 1,500 made.
What about the 4th and 5th gen Toyota Celica turbo models and the 2nd gen MR2's? Maybe less so on the Celica but the MR2's definitely have a following.
Chris Harris drives the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S manual and 911R. Spoiler alert: He has a lot of fun doing it. http://www.topgear.com/videos/chris...s-drives-aston-v12-vantage-s-vs-porsche-911-r

Bidding is at $5.5k right now, but I'm sure it's gonna go crazy.
It's already at 15kMUST NOT BID.
MUST NOT BID.
It's already at 15k
Yup yup TTA was definitely on my mind, but I thought it and the GNX had to already have collector status by now? What with being faster than the Corvette of the day... are they still relatively affordable?
I don't see enough people caring about the celica except for the people who are already into them. I'd say the same also goes for the mitsubishi 3000gt/gto and the sc300
Nobody cares about the Celica coz it's wrong wheel drive, especially the last generation.
I personally am a fan though, I've always liked them and understand why they're awesome even if they got away from the Supra.
Bit late on that really like decades late.My predictions for future classics from the 90s:
Ford Escort RS
Shamelessly taken from Forza's car lists through their games.
I skipped the super obvious from the supercar brands since basically everything from them will turn classic.

Well I did see a guy list a manual 97 SC300 with low mileage for $16,000 awhile back on Autotrader. One of only 150 or so for that, the last model year too.
No way anyone paid that though right?
So does anyone in Auto-GAF have a focus RS yet?
Changes to the "C" include an AMG performance exhaust and electronic differential as standard, 57mm more rear width than the standard Roadster thanks to swollen bodywork to accommodate a wider track with wider wheels, and the Rs rear-wheel steering system. It also borrows active aero flaps behind the front bumper from the R, minimizing drag when the engines cruising or maximizing cooling when its working hard. New for the C is a shorter first gear ratio for the seven-speed twin clutch, and a longer seventh, plus an active pop-up rear spoiler that extends and retracts depending on speed and transmission mode.
Thoughts?
Nice, I just don't like the vertical stripes in the grill. I guess it should resemble the look of the old 300SL race cars, but one horizontal stripe looks much nicer in my opinion
