It is pretty different from when it first was released. Still pretty lazy. The song is okay. Choreography is repetitive and the angle is completely flat so that stuff is a bore. The color use is like actual F- territory. Does not really help the repetitive visual elements when the song repeats the same line over and over and over. From an objective standpoint it is a bad opening.

I see its repetitive nature and your complains but I just can't help but like it, in the same manner that some people may enjoy a B-rate movie. It just feels like a Eurovision performance. Catchy song, random colours, mediocre choreography with maybe one cool moment. Its part of its charm.

Well I thought it was great. Loved the idea behind it and mostly loved the execution. It probably could have been a bit shorter and still had the same effect though.

...there's a long history of sex games being translated into non-sex anime. You just change it so there isn't explicit sex. I mean, Kanon was originally released as an adult game, and while Clannad wasn't, some of the spinoff material Key did for Clannad is sexually explicit. And then there's Fate/stay night and such which had each route of the game include plot-relevant sexual encounters (really) that they just took out and replaced with Mana Dragons or whatever.

Christ, this was awful. From its terrible opening song to the limp finish, this was chock full of all that 80/90's anime "goodness" people misremember, and not in a fun way.

School Days is literally a series of animated scenes, dozens of which are sex scenes, that are strung together by decisions. Nekopara's sex is a few minutes of content that doesn't even exist in the version of the game that most people buy. It'll just be an OVA about moe catgirls, nothing hard to conceptualize as it's what the game on Steam is.

This was kinda boring and took a whole day to get through because I kept nodding off. It feels like a retread of episode one and the school scenes were not interesting at all. The furry world was kinda dumb too.

This was awesome. I have no idea where the show wants to go but episodes should be like this instead - weird new world, parody theme, lots of action, stupid scifi plot teases. Mad Max world is the best one so far.

I loved the fantasy world in episode 2 simply because of how colorful and off-the-wall the visual design was. Don't worry though, if you want stupid scifi plot teases there'll be plenty of those to come.

Smutty as all hell. Got in the way of what could have been a very fine DRPG for me. If that kind of stuff doesn't make you cringe and if you enjoy reasonably challenging turn based battles, it's a good purchase.

Here's the issue I have with Flip Flappers. It seems like there are two shows here. There is the wacky sakuga anthology show about creative art direction and random new designs and set pieces every week, and then there is the character story about the friendship of two girls. So far the former works, and the latter is tanking hard. I don't feel anything for the characters and their relationship is really forced. On the other hand, the dumber the show gets with the scifi story, the more I like it. When Cocona's other friend showed up as part of another group, and they had a stupid ass Xenogears style ominous cult gathering scene, I jumped for joy. More of that and less of trying to have real emotions please, because as far as the writing goes, this is more Panty and Stocking and less Space Dandy. So leave character development to the experts and just stick to being entertaining and dumb.
