I'm assuming even folks who follow the show are lost on specifics when this aired? I don't know the significance of the mafia family, the characters (assuming they're in the present), or the importance of this arc as of right now.
I also giggled that I just came from a food porn video game that zooms in on the plate when they present it, into a show that has shots like these.

Moving on, lmao at the guy's scene where he deduces why the friend was lying. I mean the rest of the shit in his reasoning is fine, but the one particular aspect of the order of items is a bit silly. People can shuffle items around in a bag. The order is meaningless.
Also what's up with the main guy's jacket when he turns around. It fucking floats up cartoonishly. I mean more so than anybody else in here.
The intrigue is basically entirely new. I don't think you really need to know anything other than that Port Mafia is the dominant crime organisation in the city and it's a world where people sometimes have a specific supernatural ability. Character wise, it's a mix between completely new characters and some who have already appeared, of whom one is a main one in the principal story.
Doggie Mafia Part II: The betrayal of the tennis ball
Who the hell sees a fucking ominous ball and picks it up without a second thought. You fucking idiot. Are we sure he isn't a biologist in a sci fi space movie that sees a new alien species and decides to try and touch it?
Okay, this, this episode right here, is what I want out of 3 Lions, no goofy talking cats, no shitty comedy that undercuts the serious drama, no fucking shogi cat musical interludes. What we get is the serious exploration of depression and other human emotions that I don't see very often in anime and that is what 3 Lions has always excelled at.
Last episode and it wasn't bad. I thought the previous was good enough for an ending tbh so just wanted this one to coast on through but the timeskip it had turned out to be interesting in it's own way. Overall, things still turned out alright but they did lose a lot along the way and adjusting after it all seemed harder for some. However, the final scene was nice but still not sure what to make of Azuma and Reoko whole thing lol. Ah, also it would have been nice if their looks could have been upgraded even a little bit.
This was an enjoyable anime that really improved along the way, well done.
Eh rushed, but the fight was pretty cool and a happy ending. Overall this show was okay, being more meh than bad, but still wasn't without some great moments and fights.

Then the fight got all preachy and protag reveals that his dream is to sit down at a Starbucks and write his novel because a Gypsy told him he would write the world's greatest young adult romance novel.
I want more of my mafia ultra violence and scheming. Though I guess when it's not reminding you it's anime, it has the characters sitting down in a bar drinking and giving the plot details.
Then I'm shown a scene that anybody with a brain could have seen coming, and I did. It's so much easier to
kill the innocent than to have them be a part of the show

Well compared to 00 S2 and R2, IBO S2 is definitely off to a much better start. Gets you right back into the series and was engaging and entertaining. Whether it remains that way is yet to be seen.

Enjoy many of Seiseki's characters and the growth of Tsukamoto however I do wish he had ended up becoming the ace player of the team. Still I liked the reliable older players on the team like Haibara, Usui, and Kimishita.
Anime had great op music, Higher Climber still one of the best songs of 2016. Howl Be Quiet needs more anime music.
It's more Gun Fu than Gun Kata to be honest. Be warned, it only really happens in this last episode. On a scale of 1 to Equilibrium it's a 5, though I'd bump it to 6 due to how hilarious the whole battle gets during the end.

I think Gun Fu is based entirely on reflexes. While Gun Kata is learning the patterns of how people shoot and overall how gun fights work as to know how to shoot in the weird positions they do to avoid bullets and be spot-on with your aiming. Something like that.
The original series of 'FlipFlappers' ended around episode 8 or so. It's painfully obvious that the last few episodes share a completely different creative vision, and plot and even characters from everything that's come before. I've written extensively about shows being obviously re-written in the past, but signs in FlipFlappers are even more obvious than usual
Decent ending. The use of flashbacks throughout was comical and the main character was useless, but I had fun with this series. I'm just glad they didn't
undo all of it with a magic reset button.
I'd watch another season and I'll read the LN when Yen Press releases it.
Yep, Izumin was evil all along. Some of the characters don't really get enough to do in the anime. I'm interested to see how they wrap all of this up. Probably gonna feel too rushed, but we'll see.

It was nice to focus on some other people. I actually liked the whole Bianca subplot, and the thing about fairytales and happy vs. sad endings. I'd actually kinda like a bittersweet ending here, although I'm expecting a happy one.
The white haired girl has to be Germaina's witch we saw last episode. Hopefully the blood means she's ready to kick things up. Lol at the United States getting ready to fight Germaina and shank Elystadt.
If you look at the credits, Yuniko Ayana is credited for Story Concept and wrote the scripts for 1-3 and 5-6. My understanding is that she posted on Twitter that she was not involved in subsequent episodes, and indeed other people (Naoki Hayashi and director Oshiyama himself) have written subsequent scripts. However, Flip Flappers hasn't had a traditional series composition credit from the beginning, so I don't think this scriptwriter change was unplanned.
So, someone asked if this has gotten any better since the start. With the last three episodes, I say definitely yes!
A lot of the comedic moments in earlier episodes felt more miss than hit, not to mention some of the jokes that started to become repetitive. The match with the old man was funny, without being ridiculous. Really great visuals too. I was afraid that the episode would be just comedy, but thankfully they managed to make the final scene really strong. The ending was really satisfying too, a happy conclusion.
Episode 10 was the polar opposite of 9, in a sense. A similar start, but this time the match was really agonizing. No extravagant visuals and funny reactions, the opponent was essentially a time bomb in this one and the atmosphere was very grim. I really liked the music and the lack of the usual Rei monologues, for the most part of the match at least. Unfortunately, the ending was a win for his foster sister. The confrontation scene for the present was fantastic. Another strong ending that kind of leaves you wondering what happened with that guy's family.
just reading through the manga Working!! and look like I am getting interested in watching the anime based on what I have read as of now. Man...did Working season 3 is already out for Blu-ray and are they making any more of this series?

Man, first Asuka, and now this? Getting complacent enough to not realize how your attitude's making things bad for you until it's too late is a very real fear I have due to being somewhat lazy at times. Constant improvement takes lots of dedication, but is absolutely necessary to avoid stagnation, and Chitose here's finally reaping what she had sown as a haughty, holier-than-thou voice actor who deluded herself into thinking she was closer to her VA sempais than the other girls who were also starting up just like her, down to the point that even a "lowly" newbie who just happened to try really hard has completely overshadowed her. She kept herself content with low-hanging fruit such as okay-ish CD sales or getting a lead VA role, and failed to realize that her lack of initiative and childish personality were dooming her to going back to mob roles while everybody around her continued to climb, and rather than accepting her fall from grace as a challenge, she has chosen the easy way out of thinking she did all she could when it's obvious she hasn't done so in the slightest.
Seeing Chitose's reaction after the "surprise" and how she clumsily attempted to hide how she was really feeling at the time really got me, and then there was that scene with Gojo's superior suddenly acting serious as hell (even though it was later defused and explained as literal acting)...

So I said last week was the worst episode in this show so far. Today I feel it's the exact opposite, this is what the show should be. No stupid gags left and right, no unnecessary narration, no cats talking, this show can be great at times - even the Shogi match which I never cared about, this week came out as an intensely fierce battle of wits, with a beautifully orchestrated melody, and the sound of the pieces being played on the board. I just wish they did this more often than they currently do. The amount of despair in Mr. Yasui's mutterings after the match was concluded... No idea who was at the helm for this week's episode but this was a huge improvement and more reminiscent of what I thought we were going to get when I watched the pilot episode.
