Where does it imply that?

It doesn't. I'm just inferring that from the fact that Ultron and Natasha have a scene together. There's a glimpse of it in the trailer already. I know that relationship is a place Whedon is likely to go, but he doesn't have Wasp at his disposal.

So the first film had six heroes and an already established villain, and two of said heroes got shafted on focus as a result. The sequel brings back all but the villain, but adds three new heroes and also a new villain, and also brings back far more supporting characters than the first one.

I know he's great at ensembles but I'm still stumped by how he's going to balance all this.
Hulk and Hawkeye are getting major focus, obviously Vision, Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are, Iron Man also is on account of him being the Ultron inventer, and Black Widow is too.
So is that leaving Thor/Cap to get less focus? Not that Thor was focused on in the first one either.

I don't know how you juggle all of that, even with the help of not having to do an origin story for the Avengers which took up two thirds of the first film.

The twins and Vision don't start out as heroes, so they'll likely have the most development. Cap, Thor, and Stark take somewhat of a backseat to the characters without solo films. At least that's what seems most likely.

Actually, Thor: Ragnarok takes place immediately after AoU so there'll be some setup there. As for Cap, they gotta set up Civil War so he'll have focus as well.

Love Whedon's answer to the Quick Silver question.

"Did Fox's Quick Silver influence you in any way?"

"No, we might not use the bullet time gimmick anytime soon but other than that, nope. "

Here are Hot Toys 1/6 Age of Ultron toys. 250 bucks and up each. Hulk Buster will probably been 800 - 1000 easily.

I don't think Thanos will be in Age of Ultron but they are revealing the figure.

Nice interview with Whedon and those toys are badass. I dig the Black Widow one.

Random thought: this movie has like 7 villains in it - Ultron, Strucker, Klaw (maybe, at least Serkis character looks a bit villainous), Loki (surely just a cameo) and Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver will start off on the villains side. Plus the army of Ultron minions/Iron Legion.

13 Arc reactors total? Do the hands count? If so that's 15.

The only thing Tony's "buster" armors are good for is getting busted by the things they were designed to bust. It is both funny and sad.

It's never sad if the fight is entertaining. I prefer that Iron Man isn't overpowered and loses. Guys like Supes and Hulk get boring because you don't expect them to lose a fight and shockingly, then don't lose. Makes it harder to keep having interesting stories to tell when they're too powerful. Also, the first Hulkbuster appearance didn't lose, although it was a non-fight. I fully expect and want the Hulkbuster to lose in the movie but hope it'll be entertaining as hell.

Oh, buster armors are always entertaining. But it is still funny because they almost always get wrecked hard.

And I do expect Hulk to peel Tony out of the Hulkbuster armor like a kid opening a candy bar.

Hulk has been pretty damn interesting for the last 15 years. Between Skaar, Bannertech, and other stuff it has been a pretty fun ride.
