I actually have no idea who some of these people are or how they will appear.

They better kill off a bunch to reset the board. There are just way too many now.

Some of these roles are small and supporting, the world has them, what would killing them do? Beast in a supporting role is fine. Most of these are. That said, it obviously balloons the budget.

Shang Chi is also fine to support but that actor has become annoying and arrogant, but not as much as Pedro-handsy Pascal.

Couldn't give a crap about the vast majority, and that's even at the character level, let alone actor level.

Spiderman is always announced last because of Sony. They did this last time, and like last time the script is probably written and ready once the agreement is signed.

So the solution is to cram literally everyone in the movie and pray it all somehow makes sense?

Given the stories that the directors had playing cards with the actors and their salary and actors saying they did their scenes alone against green suited stand-ins so the other actor could be added in later....yup it has all the hallmarks of a TITANIC mess.

But the Russos are pretty good with Marvel, so if they stick to the actual charismatic actors in that roster and just use the others as cameos it might work. Hell, just "bad Tony Stark" could probably carry the film if he just goes from scene to scene, fucking up various legacy teams.

It is interesting that almost all of the 'young replacements' are missing from that cast list. No Hailee Steinfeld, no iron girl, no Ms. Marvel. Not that I care for most of them, but if there was ever a "pass the torch" time, it's now. Though this is basically a part 1 film, right?

Maybe. Spider-man is a huge aspect of MCU now, even with Sony's shenanigans, it's weird that he has not showed up on any announcement panel so far. At least it aint looking good in my eyes. Will see.

They need to reboot the whole thing, new cast new start.

I get that not every recent project has landed, but calling the whole thing 'B-tier slop' ignores the fact that the last two Avengers movies were major worldwide media events

They lost Iron Man, Captain America and is about to loose Spider-Man.

They need these characters.

And too many people don't like who they got cast right now.
