Couldn't agree more, I bought it when it came out and enjoyed it but tried playing it again a few years later and realised it was complete dump. MK8 has only served to make MK Wii even worse.

It's honestly not a good Mario Kart, but a decent game. Only reason I have fond memories is because I played it a lot because I was good at it.

But the RNG whining was a bit unwarranted, be good at the game and you'll win 95% of the time(even online).
