That looked... passable?
I was interested in the movie before and now I'm still interested, no more or less so.
Music was pretty bad though. That can't be Zimmer, can it?
It's the way Snyder likes superpowered beings to move. They move like fighting game characters, with like a little freeze after a super fast motion.
No, its not.Yes, that makes perfect sense. You know it's entirely possible to love both Marvel and DC comics and movies equally, right?
That's a great Lex, but it'll be nice to get away from Business Lex and into Mad Scientist Lex in an adaptation for once.
What the....
Are your friends boring politicians?
:O
Lol, you really think that? No, its not.

wow we have the same avatar lol. Time to get a new one I guess![]()
So this Doomsday dude. I was asking about him yesterday and some people gave me the basics. What's his power set here? Because it seems like he's some mutant zombie Zod. So are we assuming he just has crazy Zod powers? Crazy laser vision, crazy strength, etc.? Because in that case, I could see him being a good Superman villain but I'm interested in seeing how Batman could handle him.
Doomsday is the ultimate jobber.
I feel like every movie Luthor we've had (Hackman/Spacey) has kind of been more Mad Scientist Lex though versus Biz Lex though.
He's a wrecking machine that destroys everything in his path. Ability-wise he's kinda like Hulk and Wolverine together on Kryptonian steroids. He can and has killed Superman. So this Doomsday dude. Thanks jobs because of love.Thanos exists tho
Nope. Most were looking forward to the movie, but the trailer ended and a resounding "eh" filled the room.
Still waiting on Junkie's Batman theme. Maybe the final trailer. That looked... passable?

What are you talking about? Why would I think you're stupid?Do
You really think I am that stupid?
You mean Mongul.Fixed![]()
But business Lex is mad science Lex they are one in the same.
The main reason I dont think I like Luthor in this movie is because he's not DCAU awesome Luthor

You got to remember the movie and comic book versions are going to be different and we saw glimpses of this in the film.
But basically Doomsday is super strong (obviously) and can kill Superman as he once did so. He's very resistant, in fact he's a being that will eventually adapt to however he is hurt/beaten so it can not be used against him again. Say a certain kind of energy is used against him and you take him down, next time it won't work. His body overall can change and adapt as well, more protective bone spikes for example that in the comic are all over him. In the end no matter what you do there is one huge problem against him, he won't stay dead. He'll revive given time.
The comic version never had heat vision or could actually fly or had any of Supermans powers. He was pretty much an evil version of the Hulk only more dangerous and enjoys killing. He doesn't feel pain or feel fear. He doesn't really have any real emotions except to tear you apart. Most of the time he's treated pretty poorly in the comics as some writers as some fans do feel he's a gimmick and nothing more. Some have tried to add stories to him but most are poorly done. And in the end much of the time less creative writers simply have him be punched out by superman which really shows they don't get it and want to see, ahaha, see, Doomsday what a joke.
His last several appearances usually has him coming out as to say OMG this guy killed Superman and yeah he gets defeated in a less than impressive way. Much like Bane he's poorly used 75% or more of the time.

I can only imagine how intense he'll be in Snyder action. This trailer better not be his final form though. Those bones need to grow.
OK, so for all the talk a bit earlier about hating on this trailer being a fanboy thing, wasn't the reaction to the previous trailers/teasers really different around here?
This trailer specifically feels like its for a different movie almost. From music to editing, its not as good as the previous ones. Awkward ADR, fast motion/slowmotion that looks right out of a Fast and Furious trailer, the most generic trailer music possible... I think that accounts for the reaction here more than anything, and I'm seeing a mostly negative reaction elsewhere too.
I think Lex being visibly younger than Kent is what's off putting to me.
Huh. I didn't know thatThey're actually the same age.
Dont take this in a bad way. It came of ruder then intended. I was just sarcastic. What are you talking about? Why would I think you're stupid?
YYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSKUJGPISUGRDPIASURGHPIAUGHDPIAURIPFDADIUsGHPIUGIUI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's growing on me the more I watch it, but I wish I had this reaction. I want my grimdark back.YYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSKUJGPISUGRDPIASURGHPIAUGHDPIAURIPFDADIUsGHPIUGIUI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They're actually the same age.
Seriously?! Eisenberg legit looks ten or twelve years younger to me. JeezLord, no.
They're actually the same age.
And shouldn't that put into perspective how much of a threat he really is? Someone so young and drastically smaller than Supes is going to give him a challenge harder than ZodYes, but that's a different issue from how their characters look on-screen. He looks at least 5 years younger than Cavill.

I have a feeling this movie is going to really challenge the way we see hero films.
There is once again another added layer of depth that seems to delve into deeper psychology.
Both Caville and Affleck seem to be coming from a place we don't fully understand, but I look forward to learning the motives, and the revelation.
Snyder is once again tapping into emotion, Like Plato, it seems Superman is the envy and arouses his being a philosopher that will put him at odds with a man who has lived and seen things we will never understand.
God I can't wait. Visually orgasmic.
