When does the In the Name of the Tsar fully release?
I'm on my phone right now and can't find the reddit thread with the dev comments, but search westies recent YouTube video. He talks about it and links the thread in his comments. That's how I first learned about the thread, I don't read that sub very often.Link or source?

I'm actually working on a pretty significant weapon rebalance right now to try to get some more variation between existing weapons, and to get myself some more design space for future ones.
Good news, looks like the dlc will launch next week!

What a horrible time.
Destiny 2 is next day and Seige has also a big update. The time between the first and second dlc has been such a waste of time.

that's exactly why they're releasing then.
Not sure i follow?
Hey, how is the role distribution in BF?
I found medics to revive often enough, but rarely did people play support, and even rarer for them to drop ammo.
Do more people play support/drop ammo these days?
Yes, definitely, there have been plenty of people playing support in the past few weeks. A lot more than I remember.Hey, how is the role distribution in BF?

It feels like it to me. I usually don't have too hard of a time finding ammo.
Wow realy?Yes, definitely, there have been plenty of people playing support in the past few weeks. A lot more than I remember.
I play support more than any other class and I drop ammo boxes all the time. I run ammo boxes and mortars, but I recently used the crossbow again for the third Summer Mission in the Frontlines gametype and remember liking it way back when I started playing. Ammo boxes are a staple for me though.Hey, how is the role distribution in BF?

When I play support in conquest I often run packs with limpets. I get so many tanks that way, and it's a really nice way to clear a building. I also drop packs like a mofo.I play support more than any other class and I drop ammo boxes all the time. I only play BF1 as well so I'm also stoked.BF1 is the only shooter I play online so I need some new content.
Soissons, Rupture and Nivelle Nights are the biggest maps I think. Can't say much for how they play in conquest as I avoid the mode usually. Frontlines on the new maps is great though.Apparently Albion is a very big map, that's spread out.
Are there any maps like that in They Shall Not Pass?
Frag crossbow is a decent anti infantry addition but limpets and the HE mortar is still better than the HE crossbow against vehicles.Support has a crossbow now? Whats different compared to the Assault launchers? Does it make them viable against vehicles?
The Chauchat LMGs are really good. Monstrous damage up close and you can burst people at ridiculous ranges. Specialisations are still a ways off - they'll come sometime after the next DLC hits, so maybe in the October patch.I want any excuse to see more Support, which often felt like the class least played.
And what's this about specializations?? I don't recall them existing before.
Yep, it's mostly the DLC servers that are less populated. The Revolution bundle might alleviate that, but if you're fine playing the base maps, there's plenty of servers.I considered getting BF1 a while back on sale but didn't. One of the reasons was that I didn't want to buy the DLC. Is the base game still alive on PC or is everybody playing on DLC maps?
Holy shit the current CTE build
-classic conquest is back
-Model 8 .35 can 3hk to 70m
-RSC can 2hk to 70m (or should, does no damage atm lol)
-all medic weapons are more accurate
Lots more changes, more details here > weapon stuff, legacy Conquest details
Do you people who play on both console and PC think the skill/play gap is significant?
Because if I get this on PS4, I am playing with a huge, 70K player pool.
PC seems to go as low as 20K, and it kind of shows when I turn on the server browser and find few matches.
Yet PC is supposed to play totally differently from console version.
I don't have BF1 on PC but I did play BF3 and BF4 on PC and console and I think the experiences are likely all similar. The average BF player on console is noticeably worse than the average PC player. I'd say that's simply because there are a lot more people that just casually play it on console while the PC playerbase is smaller and maybe more dedicated. You'll still find great players on console and awful players on PC, I'm just talking about the average player.
The pace is a lot higher on PC as well simply due to how much faster you can play with a keyboard and mouse. Recoil controllability differences means gun balancing will feel different as well.

It was announced a couple days agoSo... when is the next DLC actually coming out? I find it so strange that they have a map available to play but still no word on when the whole thing will actually be out.
WTF, these weapon changes sound awful.
The devs are saying(via Reddit) that they want to move the overall TTK in the game down towards what it was in BF4, but BF4's TTK was terrible.
Next thing you know they'll announce tap-firing is back as a viable thing.

I enjoy BF1's TTK. Hope it doesn't change too much.
i remember when a PS4 player switched to PC and said the top end was much higher but the average PC player was hot garbage compared to the average console player.

Premium members get the full DLC on the 5th (this Tuesday). Everyone else gets access to it 2 weeks later on the 19th.
Same, have been playing some of the CoD Beta and I hate how low the TTK is.I enjoy BF1's TTK. Hope it doesn't change too much.
