Can't remember. I'm more of a support, than a all-in-rambo-killing-spree-dude. I go for the points (repairs, heals, ammo, assists) and do my thing in tanks and heli's to help out the team. I love me some tank-action, but i rarely get a good gunner :(

Yeah I go for the points too, sometimes I have a negative k/d ratio but end up on the top 3 in my team. I'm a tank guy aswel, I rarely ever get outside my tank on the big maps.

same here. The most kills I managed were 55 me thinks, and that was on a long round of Seine Crossing.

Only if CQC or headshot. Otherwise another bolt is needed or they need to be damaged. Not at all OP.


As for most kills: I've gotten at least 25-50 infantry only role in defense of 100% Rush depending on how many sets they take while on defense. Otherwise if I'm in the air and have a good pilot that notices what the fuck I'm firing/spotting (tanks/air vehicles coming to take us down, dumb-fired RPGs to take them out so they don't lucky shot us) I can easily go 50-75+ if they keep that air vehicle up and enemy team isn't that good.

Sometimes the patch itself includes many assets for the expansion. Maybe they have a limit on size, so they must split the content.

I remember the Vietnam expansion on Bad Company 2. The expansion itself was not that big... the patch prior to that was huge.

But... DAMN!!! My BF3 folder on xbox weights 20gb!!!

For the MTAR Specialist assignment where you have to get "10 pieces of enemy equipment destroyed with the EOD bot", can somebody tell me what does and doesn't count? I know that TUGS and Spawn Beacons definitely count, but I also know that Claymores definitely don't. What about SOFLAMs, AT Mines, and C4? Not to mention enemy vehicles?

One other question: has anyone seen a list of the weapon pickups in Scavenger, along with their attachments? I seem to be doing quite well in that mode and wouldn't mind replicating some of the weapon pickups.

Been playing this game almost non stop after getting it on Black Friday. But is it me or do people spot less in BF3 than in BC2?
Because I remember playing BC2 and spotting was always happening. But in this game, I feel like I'm the only one that ever spots.

the spotting mechanic isn't as good as BC2, you don't just light up a bunch of people by spotting remotely in their vicinity... ok, you dtill do, but it's not as lenient...

One of the differences is that now, when you spot infantry, if they go behind a wall or something, the 3D spot disapear. Also, I feel the spot mark is smaller. Maybe is that why you feel people spot less.

So how far behind am I going be, if I'm jumping back into BF3 with the ultimate edition for 360 (the one that comes with all the expansions and some equipment/gun unlocks)?

I don't have as much gaming time as I did when I was younger, but 1942 is one my all time faves. I dunno' if I can stomach getting base raped for hours on end, with no option other than "Deal with it, until you get better guns."

Don't worry about it. Guns are pretty well balanced. And arguably the best guns for the Assault and Engineer class are early unlocks. Just find one you like and work on unlocking an optic sight. It should be available with about 50 kills, pretty fast.

experience is the only reason you'll be behind on foot. in vehicles, there are some unlocks that are pretty good, but most of those are pretty fast unlocks.
