As someone who plays on Console and PC (I'm terrible with a mouse) I expect the number to shoot up even more for Conquest. I can't even play conquest on console, it feels so sparse, the difference is so huge. Everyone going next gen, prepare for a dramatic upgrade from 24 players, especially at 60 fps.
There will be nothing else like it.

Off the top of my head, Exhibit A:
I'll be playing on 32-player servers on BF4.
Ehh, depends on map design. But I prefer multiple battles going on around me I could take a part of, versus 24 players, 2 to 4 of which would be in air vehicles, another 3 to 4 in tanks/land vehicles, leaving less than 20 players actually on the ground, capping flags across fairly large landscapes in many cases. I'm not arguing it would be more competitive, as it certainly isn't (the number of lopsided matches on PC is ridiculous) but there would be far more to do and engage yourself in on the ground/air/sea when there's 64 players versus 24. The good thing is you could still play less than 64 but more than 24 if that's your preference as well.

lostsupper, listen to this. Classic is fun and all but only playing that is getting old. Time to switch it up a little and play some DLC maps.
