I can't wait to see this Armored Kill trailer.
I haven't bought Premium or CQ yet but I have a feeling this will be what pushes me over the edge.
I've been waiting for a deal on MS points for a while though. I missed my chance to get Premium for $30 a while back and am kicking myself.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
I've realised in order to get maximum enjoyment out of this game I need to stick to the ~midnight server crowd, due to the skill level drop. Day time players are simply far too good, and every single round ends in a massacre of ~550 tickets to 0.
I don't have the time to play this game all day like these people, nor the skill level to match them, so I think I'll stick to the twilight noobs

Well, I've done it. I've made the 1700 kills necessary to get the new cammos. God Bless Norshahr Canals TDM. Now I stop being so OCD about assignments and play something fun.

Oh, and AK looks great, very hype for the new maps. Just disappointed at the lack of new weapons. I remember that e3 stream footage had some Engineer gameplay with an M14 pattern rifle, and there are 5 new assignments, so unless it's new equipment, that's one new weapon for each class plus an all-kit. weapon.

After putting countless hours in the PS3 version I recently bought a new pc desktop and decided to get BF3 vanilla.
The transition from 24 players to 64 is CRAZY. I only played for about 30 minutes on Caspian, but the difference is enormous. There's action going on everywhere. I love it. And the game runs surprisingly well even though I "only" have a Geforce 530.
Thinking of purchasing the vehicle kit unlock though, it's pretty harsh going back to zero unlocks/abilities.

Want to give me a list of things to get for building a PC that can play BF3 on low to medium? I dont want to change my tower, it's the family pc and my mom will pay for most of it provided she thinks im simply upgrading the bare minimum.
We generally need a new desktop, but I'll end up paying for any extras necessary for building the rig to meet BF3 requirements. I just want to know what I can take out and put in.

So I wonder what that "bonus content drop" will be in August. It's on the BF Premium "roadmap".

I don't think so. There is a separate event(Soldier Upgrade) for camos on the calendar.

Should run BF3 quite well at medium settings and decent on high. Build also gives you some room for upgrades in the future. If you'd like a near-flawless 60fps on medium and 45-60fps on high, change the card to a 7850.

Well, I suppose it would be pretty cool to get the dice weapons and attachments, but I'm not sure... It could just be more weapon cammos, like cammos for all the guns we have so far in the colors we have so far. New weapons is another possibility, but they might risk slight game imbalance/non-premium whining if they do.
Hey guys, im about the jump ships from consoles BF3 to pc BF3 when I get my new laptop! anyway I can get past having to unlock everything again? Weapons I don't mind thaaaaaat much, but vehicles will piss me off. Apart from buying the kit unlocks, is there anywhere where people sell their accounts or something?

I know this is an old post, but I was reminded of it the other day on Seine Crossing.
Rush defense and IFV is up, wreaking total havoc. I roll engy trying to deal with it and have a rough go: javelin is missing constantly (fucking smoke) + IFV gunner is elite, shooting me down in no time at all despite my changing locations. So far as I can tell I'm the only one on the team trying to deal with it; if others are trying they're doing just as poorly as me.
Between each death I check our squad leader's position and each time he's nowhere near the objective (which are getting steamrolled one by one at this point, IFV continuing to run shit, surrounded by multiple infantry; this is RUSH DEFENSE!!). From watching him on the spawn cam I really couldn't see what the fuck he was doing, I just know he wasn't watching the objectives.
So I'm all, "fuck this guy, he fucking sucks," and continue to spawn in near the back as engy and continue to try to take out the IFV, which is basically rolling objective to objective, camping and mowing.
Fucking third set and I'm sucking on 1-8, IFV still up .... I check the scoreboard and our squad leader is 20-9 and in first place.
I fucking rage quit.
I'm not saying better players don't have better kdrs, of course they do, but as a stand-alone stat? That guy sucked fucking ass; I was the only one doing anything about the #1 reason we were losing; I'm 1-8 he's 20-9.
Scoreboard needs to be points only, or points & kills only, or points & deaths only.

I was in a match (Seine, also), where two different driver+gunner had the Russian tank parked in the back of our spawn. I have no idea what they were doing, you can't really shoot anything from that point, maybe down into D, but you have a terrible angle on it. They both sat there for the longest time, doing nothing. We ended up losing the match by around 25 points, and it was directly attributable to those 4 guys just wasting time and the tank. But, they had the highest individual scores.

Nope, no way around it, you'll have to unlock everything from the start. It'll be a new experience with 64 players is the only consolation I can offer.
