That's the one, maximum 15 real bodies and the rest are bots. Training mode.

Sounds rubbish.

Recon is useful on every map rn. Spawn beacon, motion sensor, carbine and a uav. Turned around 2 cq matches running an aggressive recon kit and the uav is basically permanent when you're capping and assisting
I think the spawn beacon is getting moved to the Assault class.

Yup, they are actually using the multiplayer reveal build instead of the one they claimed to have made changes to.

I am curious why they didn't use the most current build in the beta though.

Is it not possible to get rid of the 2nd weapon as assault? And then that would result in you starting with more ammo for your primary gun?

I reinstalled BF 2042 wondering if I had been too harsh on it. The gunplay is good, but the maps are really empty — there's literally not a single piece of cover to hide behind, it's unbelievable. I already felt sick the moment I saw the operator with the hat using a grappling hook again. So, BF6 is definitely better. Whether it will be as good as the older games remains to be seen, but I can at least say it's better than BF 2042.

As we transition from Early Access to the full Open Beta we'll perform brief server maintenance on Saturday, August 9, starting at the following times:
00:45AM PDT
03:45AM EDT
07:45AM UTC09:45AM CEST
03:45PM HKT
We expect the maintenance to take up to 30 minutes, during which gameplay won't be available.
Thank you for your patience. We're excited to have you joining us on the Battlefield during this Open Beta period!

Being able to drag and revive. Didn't ask for it, it's insignificant in the grand scheme of things but it's something so fun to do.

Matchmaking? NO. Bring back server browser. I need it in the worst way. This is worrying to me.

Don't have much other thoughts right now because I haven't played much.

One knock in the footage I've seen, and I don't really consider it a knock as a product, just to my 40+ year old reflexes. The movement is spastic as fuck. It looks like they copy and pasted the on-foot locomotion code from APEX or COD. It'll probably help sales, so it's not a bad thing. I wasn't gonna buy at $70 anyways even if they put a new coat of paint on BF:BC2. Just not a competitive shooter guy at all anymore. Between the price, movement, no server browser and kernal anti cheat, just not worth it. It'll sell like crazy tho.

It's nowhere near as bad as Cod but I had a ridiculous death earlier, got first shots on the guy then he had a fit on his controller and slid across the room to kill me.

I will never understand how these movement players have fun. You would have to drink a Red Bull and sweat like that guy wearing a headset from the meme, every single game. They play like there's money on the line.

Thankfully most of them will return to Warzone and Cod after the beta never to be seen again.

I think vince zampella involve in this game.

The usual "I know it's a beta" an all, but these graphics better have a healthy upgrade come release. Currently there's a severe lack of specular highlights in the PBR pipeline and it has the unfortunate effect of making the visuals veer wildly between quite good (lighting) to jarringly bad (360 era).

Game ain't so bad. Portal is still one of the coolest ideas in this franchise. Wish they could fill it with the greatest hits maps, but the install size would likely be way too big then.

Would be cool if you had a kind of AI "unfold" desired maps on demand, like a kind of compression.

Isn't that basically what they did in 2042. I have that downloaded and have been playing maps from 1942, Bad Company 2, BF4 all in one play list.

Yep. They should 1:1 import all the Battlefield 2 maps, old graphics and all, can use current asset models and stuff, the boys will get rowdy if they did that.

I finally ran into my first bugs in 7.2 hours (currently lvl 16? maybe higher I forgot to look) when I couldn't edit loadouts. When I tried to select an attachment, it wouldn't let me and then at the end of the match I couldn't exit to menu until about the 20th time I tried it.

I've also had a ton of fun on the big map as an engineer just taking aircraft out of the sky. The last match I took our 4 helicopters and 3 jets and it felt pretty good.
