Can you blame them? Only map so far where recon is actually useful

I find it hilarious when rampant cheating on PC games is brought up and it's hand waved away; usually with something like "It's not that rampant".Urgh, just seen that PC cheats are already available. If I do get this I guess I'll be buying it on PS5 Pro and turning off cross play.
If you cheat, please know that you failed at life and your parents are so fucking disappointed in you.
this actually helped alot, thanksBecause you didn't set sensibility to 35 and let it on E3 presentation mode of 20, that comes by default.
We've come a long way. I remember the days when you'd get bullied if the lobby found out you were using a controller on pc.
Nah, thank you for the advice, but I'll turn crossplay off. Maybe will be on when it's hard to find matches (like the dreaded 2042)Nops, but 90% of consoles players will leave crossplay on, aim assist is really strong. Enable flick backward look on controller settings, put sensitive on 80, turn off vibration and everything will be ok.
Lmfao if you can't understand how aiming on PC is easier than on console, you really need to work on your critical reasoning skills.
Your anecdotal evidence doesn't really mean anything when it comes to the reality for the majority. Aiming is easier with a mouse. That is a fact, whether you're pissy about having less people to play with or not.
Don't care about your K/D. Why even brought it up. Go play with your fellow master race. Let us console peasant play with each other. Strange how you against this. Maybe you like to farm kill the peasants?
I love both modes, but I feel like ever since Battlefield 3 Rush has been kind of neglected in favor of Conquest when it comes to map designed IMO. Instead of trying to make rush work for a conquest map, design one that works best for its gameplay. I think that's why I don't bother with it and leaned more towards Operations. There is an unspoken split in the player base about which game mode they prefer.
There's the purists who think if you aren't playing conquest, it's not Battlefield.
Personally rush, or gold rush as it was known back in the Bad Company days, is what got me into Battlefield in the first place. I understand the appeal of large scale battles but for me the best moments on Battlefield are where you're dug in and protecting an objective. Or if you're attacking constantly reviving and resupplying teammates as you chip away metres at a time into those areas.
I also quite enjoyed grand operations in the recent games.

You'd have to imagine it because they don't.Now image forcing this crossplay bullshit.
You think its a skill issue for those of us who would rather not play against PC players that have lobbies hacked within a few hours of this wonderful new secure boot anticheat?
Skill has nothing to do with plus the fact I have a nice gaming PC setup so I prefer 90% of my games on PC on this 9800X3D 5090 on this 4k ultrawide OLED
Fact is I prefer shooters on console and rather not deal with
Read that as "Drag and Drive" and thought, huh didn't think it was out yet but this dudes standards are really dropping.I just cant get enough of the drag and revive.
You might as well speak a foreign language to meIsn't anticheat supposed to communicate with public TPM keys to determine authenticity? I haven't really kept up on anticheat stuff but wouldn't the mb/CPU be banned after this? I know hwid spoofing is easy but TPM is a bit of a different animal
I'm a purist as in you can either balance these games for Rush or Conquest, you can't have both, have the cake and eat it too. There is an unspoken split in the player base about which game mode they prefer.

I haven't played on my PC yet, only the PS5 Pro. For those on console, make sure you are going into accessibility and the graphics sections there. Turn off all of the motion blur and what not in there, game looks 100% better after turning off all of that nonsense.
Recon is useful on every map rn. Spawn beacon, motion sensor, carbine and a uav. Turned around 2 cq matches running an aggressive recon kit and the uav is basically permanent when you're capping and assistingCan you blame them? Only map so far where recon is actually useful![]()
The flip side of that are the people on this very forum that say PC gaming is almost as easy as console gaming and being 100% honest I had to find a guide posted here on how to turn on secure boot on my own PCThis guy is a fucking idiot.
While yes its true that the secure boot requirement is needless and stupid, it has nothing to do with updating anything or even coding (I know its a shitty attempt at being funny). You have to disable secure boot, load the default keys, and then re-enable it. It takes like 5 minutes on any modern motherboard. If you can't handle doing that I don't know why the fuck you're gaming on PC.
What shooter isn't full of cheaters
Sure you may need a guide to know what to do, but again it's not difficult to actually do in the slightest. The flip side of that are the people on this very forum that say PC gaming is almost as easy as console gaming and being 100% honest I had to find a guide posted here on how to turn on secure boot on my own PC
Yep. Literally the only reason I understand all this secure boot/UEFI/TPM/BIOS nonsense is because I built my PC months ago and had to figure it out because I was too stubborn to take my parts to some builder. I sure as hell didn't understand any of that before, and it was trial by fire. The flip side of that are the people on this very forum that say PC gaming is almost as easy as console gaming and being 100% honest I had to find a guide posted here on how to turn on secure boot on my own PC
This!..Defense and breakthrough All I need now is the As-valRecon is useful on every map rn. Spawn beacon, motion sensor, carbine and a uav. Turned around 2 cq matches running an aggressive recon kit and the uav is basically permanent when you're capping and assisting
I don't think it's that simple. Golmud Railway from Battlefield 4 for example, a map designed for conquest is terrible in Rush. Wake Island in Battlefield 3, that's another terrible one. I'm not saying it hasn't worked, I'm sure you can give me an example but quality wise it's inconsistent. When it comes to levels designed around Rush, the best ones are behind us. IMO nothing can compete with Oasis and Harvest Day from BC1.All maps should be designed for conquest and then turned into a corridor for rush.
You'd have to imagine it because they don't.
Concord.

Defensive about what? You seemed to imply you couldn't turn cross play off. You can and you can in in COD as well, if thats what you were referring to.I can. The competiton tried to push this ideia of crossplay. Stop being so fucking defensive 100% of the time dude.
Not that kinda of cheaters.
I didn't even know bots were in a game mode. My god they are hilariously shit.
This is the least of the problems at the moment, but the fact that they were hacked in less than a 2 day is, to put it mildly, puzzling.I didn't even know bots were in a game mode. My god they are hilariously shit.
I read of you play the initiation modes they are 50% bots all the time. Is that not true?Just until the server got real people. I'm of course against playing bots unless you can fight bots offline, but is a little odd seeing people posting high numbers and servers full, queue, but are you really find any bots even with all those people playing?
It is.I read of you play the initiation modes they are 50% bots all the time. Is that not true?

I don't think so, there are of course completely inadequate people who buy hacks for the Beta version, but there are few of them. Here, most likely, the manufacturers themselves are testing their software before the release. Question is more about the security of the game itself, and how quickly everything was hacked.I read of you play the initiation modes they are 50% bots all the time. Is that not true?
Are those bonfires from Lord of the Ring? Can you blame them? Only map so far where recon is actually useful![]()
If the tech skills required to play on console/pc in 2025 would be difficulty sliders from games, console would be "Very Easy" and PC would be "Easy". All gamers should have the skills to play on "Normal".Sure you may need a guide to know what to do, but again it's not difficult to actually do in the slightest.
Anyone acting like PC gaming is as easy as console gaming is being rediculous though, it's not. There's always technical bullshit to DIY.
It just exposes the general tech illiteracy of the post millenial generation, the people that had their childhoods in the 2010s often grew up with a smartphone and a tablet and those guys often struggle with simple Microsoft Office Suite programs. If the tech skills required to play on console/pc in 2025 would be difficulty sliders from games, console would be "Very Easy" and PC would be "Easy". True, some people blame the boogeyman when they have a bad game. But that doesn't mean cheating is not prevalent on PC.Sometimes it feels like I must be the only PC gamer in existence who after playing hundreds of combined hours of online fps over the years can't recall the last time I encountered a particularly noticeable cheater, or at least one who was ruining my own experience. People are always quick to shit the bed over this stuff and video examples are always at hand as if to demonstrate a plague that is supposed to represent how a game will play out for every player on the platform, but I reckon it's just more of the usual over exaggerating hyperbolic bollocks really. Stop joining Chinese servers or something, would be my first suggestion. For the vast majority of players on PC, PLENTY of fps experiences (including BF) work just fine, hence their enormous mainstream success, what a shocker.
