Worth remembering that Battlefield 6 is a fully priced game, so banning these accounts should deter cheaters.
Cheating will be more common in the free BR mode though, much like Warzone.

A little disappointed that there is no closed weapons option for Rush, just Conquest and Breakthrough, but happy to see closed weapons come to Breakthrough.
Also, noticed no Breakrhrough only mode this time around, it's either with Rush or with Conquest. I have a feeling Breakthrough only mode was very popular and they want to see players play other modes.

standard matching system is utter trash, why the fuck do I have to tick manually the maps I wanna play, because their system no longer has persistent map rotation servers.
Guess DICE really haven't learnt anything from 2042, you'll never get a full server browser, because EA are tight pricks.
At this point, just let people buy servers, people will pay for then, and you've saved even more money.
Their match making is the L of the entire game atm

A server browser is coming for testing, just not in this beta. They specifically state that this search feature is not the server browser.
Edit: Of course it still might suck and we might all still be pissed, but today is not that day.

Custom search I can live with and it's not exactly new to Battlefield. I'm not that arsed about having a traditional server browser. But persistent lobbies? There's no fucking excuses. Oh wait there is - they don't want people chilling out for a few hours with the same like-minded players, seeing all the maps in predictable rotation... and never leaving to check out the premium store tab.

It took them long enough to add for bf4, my gut feeling is they lose some of their data metric hoovering which is too valuable. Or their server side hosting platform is just gash and it would be ripped apart within days, exploited everywhere.

"Admit" is such a strange word to use here. They're not admitting something, they're trying to brag "Our anticheat is catching sooooo many cheaters, buy our game!"
I'd bet my life that most of these 'thwarted attempts' were nagware prompts demanding people shut down normal non-cheating software, many of which are probably double-counted when a confused end-user goes "Huh?" and then tries to launch the game again.

Well, for consoles it's as easy as turning of crossplay.
Fixes the entire issue instantly.
It's also a well-known issue in COD, so it's not just now and specific to BF.

Only reason I used the word admitted is because I doubt they would say "we did see 20k get through to servers that we couldn't stop but we will do better"

I see a lot of people praising this game for its Battlefield 3 roots. I thought BF3 sucked and was when the series started playing like a COD game. The other Battlefields after must have really sucked if people are rejoicing about 3, I never played another one after 3.
Is it still fast paced gameplay that forces you into choke points non stop?
I played the ever loving shit out of BFBC2 and love the slow style gameplay and completely open maps where you could level everything.

Had a great deal of fun playing the Beta, There was someone on here not too long ago that made a comment about this game offering nothing new, Something brand new and everdone before often times can be overrated at this point we just want a solid Battlefield game and after 2042 I hope people put to rest this stupid idea that some game needs to always do something brand new every entry.
Doing something consistently is already hard enough. Let's save any big brand new radical idea for a new IP. I buy and play the persona and yakuza series for the same reasons I played Battlefield in regards to expectations.
I'm not asking for the wheel to be remade. Battlefield 6 is completely fine just being a standard Battlefield game and if it ends up becoming one of the best selling or fastest-selling in the series maybe that should be a wake up call for people regarding this weird demand of something new, does the general majority even fucking care about this if this game is even performing this well?
