Could you share a clip of that dynamic? I'm curious to see how that plays in terms of pacing and the gunfights in general.
Oh, from my own subjective experience with BF since 2 on PC, close quarters sucked, lmao, but hey listen those guys (playing their little infantry only maps) had a blast, maybe there are millions out there who are going to have the time of their lives with the game! I just like bullying DICE, it's therapeutic.
I just don't think they can handle another 2042 misalignment situation with COD firing on all jets and Gamepass. Seems reckless.
Walking back on movement feels like there's a confidence issue which is ridiculous seeing as the maps are already made and locked in, the mechanics are geared hard towards COD, they'll have to lean in or this won't do, they're taking on, in my opinion, the absolute apex of Call of Duty in Black Ops 7, an inhuman and cruel expectation to place on anyone.
EA's executive need to chill the fuck out, it's an enormous almost comical request to have DICE take on COD,
this COD, so directly.
I mean, ignore all the marketers, influencers, everyone, and recognise reality, the risk of it all.
They're still not nearly in as terrifyingly bad territory as Arc Raiders is, though, not even close. That entire Concord gaggle of studios are a giant fuckup, imo.
If the clapping seals on reddit are happy with bf6, then maybe that's enough, that'll do. To me, personally though, the
gestalt, the soul, the
vibe of these two BF titles (2042/6) is
unsettling.
