Battlefield 6 Beta |OT| Open Beta/Closed Weapons.

I was going to bed but I'll hang on. If we don't get a result tonight I'll be holding you personally responsible for my crushing disappointment and tiredness tomorrow.

ill accept that. But the evidence is mounting

Trailer is fine

It's exactly as expected, nothing more nothing less

Shows more full building destruction, shame more isn't in my, but either way it needs to hurry up and release now

Campaign looks unfinished and totally average but I personally couldn't give 2 fucks on that score. Everything else looks solid.

Agreed, I'll play SP if it has coop or has unlocks, but really not bothered about it tbh. It's nice, but not a selling point to me at all

Putting the idea out there for the creative & talented types: We need a version of Damavand Peak recreated in Portal. I know terrain editing isn't an option yet but it could be worked around by stacking a bunch of objects together to create the platform, and then one team would have to jump off of it to access the objectives below.

Not related to the MP, but I'm seeing some stuff about the Single Player being super rushed and in a very rough state.

EDIT: already mentioned

Thought we would have had some sort of road map with their seasonal plans by now. Not super detailed but stuff like season length and a broad outline of what to expect and such.

Its basically a smaller version of Dawnbreaker from BF4. I was hoping it would be be comparable to that map in size.
I wasn't expecting anything bigger than Mirak Valley or Firestorm so I was pretty happy with the size. Seemed like a larger version of Empire State (and then some) with vehicles.

Weapon skins are leaking, and their just as "grounded" as 2042's cant wait to get my pirate outfit to go with this one.

I know these lower receivers exist, its just the fact its fucking gold plated and shit to be the most tacky is possibly could look.

So yeah this confirms that this game has the smallest maps of any recent BF release. There only being 2 at launch that could be considered on the larger side is just insane to me

Hoping the portal creators will give us all the maps we want.

But i'd rather they'd be released offically TBH.

You can move boundaries in portal, already confirmed, so if you want old Fitestorm back, its 100% possible to do that

Its not that simple. Portal seems powerful but even if you create something cool you still have to figure out how to get people to join your server. Or else you're just stuck playing with bots.

Survival of the fittest. The best experiences will be at the top of the list.

Something like Metro 24/7 (when it drops) will always be popular. But if you want a server full of players then you'll have to create something special with the dev tools. I give it a month before we have best of Cod and Counter Strike servers with full map rotations.

Obviously yet to see Portal but the problem with these type of features, like Halo Forge, is the assets, textures etc look considrably worse than the official maps made by the developers.

I really hope BF6 portal allows creators to use excat assets and not shoddy sub-standard ones.

DICE getting sold off / scuttled after the buyout. Their shit is just mid at best.

Remember what I said about lack of suppression being bad luck, people don't listen.

Now wheres the EA catch coming......?

Well, it costs 70 euro's and has battle passes and agressive/expensive microtransactions for skins. Just as BF2042 or Rainbow Six Siege a few yrs ago. I think that's the EA catch?

I enjoyed parts of the beta, but it felt too much like CoD.
And the hype for this game had many tryhards and streamers in my games.
Which turned the casual arcade gameplay for me and my friends into a sweatfest. I don't want Battlefield to feel like I'm playing ranked CS:GO.

The SBMM was super loose in the beta, based on team balancing rather than individual skill. It was a country mile better than what's in COD.

Maybe you just suck?

I really hope the shit single player wont affect the overall metascore of the game too much. Not that i care and i think lot of people dont either, but still.

I don't think it will be shit, just servicable by the looks of things. But will definitely get marked down for it.

Won't affect things either way.
