The game goes out of its way keeping the average player around a 1 k/d ratio and 1 win/loss ration as Activision put out that white paper on SBMM saying it helped keep players engagedAs someone who hasn't played a multiplayer COD since MW 2019 (I did play BO6's Beta but that doesn't really count I think) why do people feel like the game is manipulating them?
My experience in Modern Warfare was that cross-play made the game super easy, I remember playing match after match where I kept destroying console players who played like bots.
Gunfight was by far my favourite mode from modern Call of Duty.
Never really gave Warzone a try though and the skin shenanigans only puts me off further from trying it.
As an average player I can 100% feel when I rip off a few good games (for me) and not like I just dominate said lobbies but I am thrown into lobbies I shouldn't be in
I know the counter is that is how I get better playing against better players but just getting my ass handed to me just makes me quit
