Battlefield 6 is going to break the concurrent player record of BF franchise on Steam — take a wild guess how high it’ll go.

As someone who hasn't played a multiplayer COD since MW 2019 (I did play BO6's Beta but that doesn't really count I think) why do people feel like the game is manipulating them?
My experience in Modern Warfare was that cross-play made the game super easy, I remember playing match after match where I kept destroying console players who played like bots.
Gunfight was by far my favourite mode from modern Call of Duty.

Never really gave Warzone a try though and the skin shenanigans only puts me off further from trying it.
The game goes out of its way keeping the average player around a 1 k/d ratio and 1 win/loss ration as Activision put out that white paper on SBMM saying it helped keep players engaged

As an average player I can 100% feel when I rip off a few good games (for me) and not like I just dominate said lobbies but I am thrown into lobbies I shouldn't be in

I know the counter is that is how I get better playing against better players but just getting my ass handed to me just makes me quit

Steam will be the biggest platform for BF6.
I don't know about all that lol

PC will likely be the biggest platform for this you plonker.
That would be interesting, but historically, PC is the smallest install base for Battlefield series as well as Call of Duty. So I'm sure it will do just fine on PC, even breaking records for DICE and EA, but "biggest platform" for BF6? Nah....massive, massive doubt.

That will remain console.

I've always thought of Battlefield being a PC franchise first. Maybe I'm just getting too old.

yeah considering it was only on pc for a few iterations back in the day and when the mainline game first got to consoles it was a neutered version with fewer players/smaller maps.

now they design for console first I think but ....

Yeah with CoD falling off and this looking pretty decent I can see this taking off.

I myself am thinking of going BF6 instead of CoD and I haven't really played these games really since Bad Company 2.
