The main DJs post the playlist on their apple music profile page so maybe St Vincent will too.

All the segments are uploaded shortly after as playlists as far as I can tell. Happened with Zane, Julie, and Ebro's segments.

If you search "St. Vincent's Mixtape Delivery Service", there's a page for it on iTunes. You can probably follow and get the playlists when they post them.

It should be under featured playlists under the radio tab later I think.

That's it for the show until next week.

Tomorrow's guest DJ at this time will be Joshua Homme.

This St. Vincent mix has been awesome, perfect song selection and seamless transitions. I'm super impressed with Beats 1 so far.

Whatever they pay St. Vincent for the weekly segment, they need to pay her significantly more to get her on more often. Her personality and song selection is awesome.

I've been looking but I can't find a list anywhere of songs have been playing on Beats1. Seems like a missed opportunity.

st. vincent is a musician? K i'll sit here quietly listening to this introduction to her music.

So um anyone know where the music i "Loved" goes?

Just an FYI if you click on the beats 1 icon it will take you to the beats one radio page and you can then select each DJ and then save their playlist of songs from earlier in the day. It is even dated June 30th 2015. Nice that they are archiving these things and you can save it right into your music. This is going to be huge for artists.

On iOS it is as simple as just hitting anywhere on the beats 1 graphic that doesn't say "listen now" or have a play icon. Takes you to the radio page and links to each DJ and schedule of upcoming shows.

been listening off and on all day. really impressed with the station on the whole. they did good work putting these djs together

For example, do a search for Zane Lowe. Click on the Zane Lowe on Beats One result and it should have it under playlists.
It's the same for the other DJ AFAIK.

Wow, that's handy.

iTunes definitely needs a fix for usability.

Just to be on the safe side I just started a new iTunes Library, don't want to be in duplicate hell. I like the convenience of adding albums I already own to the app from the Apple Music library, but I don't want it redownloaded to the library on my computer. I know there's an option to only view locally stored music, but I don't know if I want to just see what happens.

May be my specific case but having over 30,000 tracks in lossless I don't want to be too risky with mixing stuff up.

Just tuned in about an hour ago - this is awesome; really love the variety!

This is... just really phenomenal.

Not a fan of the Radio edits.

Agreed.

My only disappointment so far. Wonder if there's any capability - since it's internet - to opt into explicit? Probably not, but yeah, the radio edits need to go.

Found like 20 new songs today from the stream. Good shit Apple.

It's definitely filling a big gap in the market. Eclectic station playing a very-well curated playlist of excellent music for you to discover. Great mix of stuff from musicians you've never heard of, new songs from familiar people, plus some classics.

It's kind of surprising, but nobody's really made a station with the goal to sell new music to listeners. Sirius/XM should have a station like this but most everything is pigeonholed into its niche station. Same with most of the curated stations on other streaming services. Radio stations are gunning for ratings in their markets. Something like Pandora seems to choke and just will rotate through groups of songs based off another song you liked. Music blogs or something like "All Songs Considered" seem to be a bit too focused on what came out the week before.

Heard a lot today that BBC Radio 1 is kinda like this, but Beats 1 seems to be less beholden to playing what people want to hear.

We'll have to see how things develop. Hopefully with the main DJs only having 2 hour shows they can keep it fresh.
