There will be pain tomorrow. But for tonight, much joy.
We like to call him Tomorrow Guy.
"I'm not worried. That's Tomorrow Guy's problem."

Tired as hell but gonna see how many cboms my wife and I can polish off.
Going to be spending a week in downtown Denver in March. Already planning on hitting Epic, but what other breweries/assorted beer places should I make sure I visit during that time?
Had Limo Tint after lunch when I met Sefskillz. Before dinner had Xocoveza. Just finishing a bomber of Imperial Biscotti Bourbon aged. Might stop for a bit since there is champagne for later. But might dip into something else.
Big thank you to Sefskillz and friends for the BCBS 14 and 15. It was nice meeting some new people. Hope you all have a safe and happy new year celebration while in town.
13 is super sweet...honestly no need to age it. I had to cut it with a burial skillet to take away the sweetness.
Yeah boy.

At a friends house up in Edmonds. Got a 2012 Abyss chilling outside for midnight.
Is 16.99 for Abyss normal pricing?
Cool. And too bad about Xocoveza Charred.nice meeting you! struck out on xoco charred, but did find some of that Country Boy Papaw's Red and a wild ale from Grimm Im looking forward to.
I've always found German beers to be terrible, and now I know why.
A new study shows Germany's Reinheitsgebot is turning off younger drinkers and driving them to non-German beers.
I pray for my Deutsch brothers that they may be liberated from this tyranny.
Shit. That sounds brutal. And yummy.Speaking of BCBS, I'm in the middle of doing a vertical of 2013 Barleywine, and 2013, 14, and 15 Stouts.

For now.I'll be fine. I'm splitting them with a buddy. I'm still forming complete sentences, so that's a good sign.

I did a vertical of 2011-14 Three Philosophers last year. That got rough.Oh, looking forward to my 2011-2015 Three Philosophers night once I get some 2015. It will be brutal.
Will do. I'm halfway into the 14 now.I'm not one to judge because I'm wasted on wine right now but give us an update once you're through!
Three in a night is harsh. Dunno if I can do 5. Already conspiring with a coworker to do it. Might need another.I did a vertical of 2011-14 Three Philosophers last year. That got rough.

Goddamn...Nice. We did this one Black Friday at the store I got some from. '09-'15. Vanilla Rye, Coffee and Barleywines.
Just wish it wasn't 10AM. Made for a long day...

I hope you had a few friends to do that with.
'15 is fuckin delicious. strong bourbon presence but it's really well balanced to me. interested to see what it does with some age
So far, I'd say the 14 is my favorite, but I'm already planning another vertical for next year, so we'll see how the 15 ages.'15 is fuckin delicious. strong bourbon presence but it's really well balanced to me. interested to see what it does with some age
You might (might) still be able to find a bottle if you look around.I'm pissed I was too lethargic to go out and grab the 15 version. Really kicking myself about it now, I'd really like to try it.
Working on the 15 now. I'm not sure if aging gives it more bite or they've just made them smoother year by year, or if I'm just drunk enough to not be phased as much, but I feel like they get easier to drink as I go.
Only did 14 and 15 here, and 15 was better. Better balance of everything. Just wish I could get some coffee ones from 15. This year has taught me coffee stouts are much better fresh.'15 is fuckin delicious. strong bourbon presence but it's really well balanced to me. interested to see what it does with some age

There are ridiculous amounts of BCBS left here in Seattle. There have been at least three shipments following the Black Friday launch, and variants if you look enough.

Meanwhile, nothing at all in southern KY. Of course, I know many stores around here are very unhappy with the distributor. They play favorites while the small stores scrounge for leftovers. But some stores like Winos/Shenanigans are friends with some brewery reps to get certain things eventually. The nice thing is that once they get them the hype is passed so they are easily gotten.I've looked around here (CT tri state area) and have come out completely empty handed

Found myself a new favorite.. The god tier Achel 8 Blond! A beautiful trappist triple beer, don't be fooled by the 70's design!
Yeah I'd love to be able to check out Cbomb and Parabola now to compare to some other stuff.Seattle just sounds great for finding stuff all around. :c
