In 1997 Ziggy Stardust was named the 20th greatest album of all time in a 'Music of the Millennium' poll conducted by HMV, Channel 4, The Guardian and Classic FM. In 1998 Q magazine readers placed it at number 24, while in 2003 the TV network VH1 placed it at number 48. It was named the 35th best album ever made by Rolling Stone on their list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2000 Q placed it at number 25 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever. In 2004 it was placed at number 81 in Pitchfork Media's Top 100 Albums of the 1970s. In 2006, the album was chosen by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 best albums of all time.

Yeah, that'd probably be it for me. I don't listen to much in the power metal genre especially anymore, but NiME hasn't diminished since I moved on to explore other kinds of music. Love every track to death. If not for NiME, it would've probably been Who's Next or Zep 4 or DSOTM (5.1 SACD edition!) or Weezer Blue Album or a Muse album which I can't decide on or Relationship of Command or Ziggy Stardust or something like that ;b

That's not a problem if you keep your list alphabetical. And since few people seem to be noting whether or not they're a vote or a nomination, that seems more practical.

the only advantage in sorting is that output is prettier. this eliminates a find in what i think will be the common case. if i feel like it i can throw something together tomorrow i guess, but i would not hold my breath if i were you. if you care enough to discuss this further then i suggest we take it to pm.

Okay, I'll explain a little more clearly. Sorting allows you to quickly reference your list to see if a vote is for something new or existing. Since people are not really following the whole nomination/vote designation most of the time, it makes a whole lot more sense to rely on your own methods to improve efficiency rather than trying to get the replies to follow an unnecessary format.
