That I’ve actually seen live? Probably Zach from RATM, unreal energy, craziest pit I’ve been in (most violent were always local hardcore/punk shows...).

Trent from nin has always been solid too, if a little weak on the technical side. Maynard from TOOL has always been a treat but not really a “frontman” as his pretentious ass prefers to be just another instrument and now performs from platforms next to Danny Carey in the back. I did catch a show during the Ænima days but I hadn’t fully caught the TOOL bug yet, next time I saw them for Lateralus he was literally hiding in the back.

From artists who I haven’t seen in concert? Freddie is surely in the running, along with Jagger and even Steven Tyler. There’s a reason why they’ve enjoyed long, storied careers even if I don’t necessarily enjoy all the music. Saw a Kurt mention above, the video recording of Where did you Sleep Last Night... may be one of my most favorite performances period. Just wow.

Let’s not forget Jimi here either 😉
Phil Anselmo definitely.
Up there with the worst I’ve seen live, tbh. Not as bad as Manson (seen twice, early and late career, both sucked in their own special ways but he tries 😂) but still pretty uninspired. It was in ‘98ish so not a great time for Pantera overall, perhaps in the time before dope it was better?

ZDLR is a pretty underrated suggestion here. Isn't particularly gifted musically but he has all the intangibles down.

Too bad he's fucking nuts and doesn't like working FFS...
