7 minutes into part 2 and I'm still not seeing where the ownage is. I can totally see where he's coming from, I don't agree with him, but I can definitively see where he's coming from.

Agreed. Maddow is popular with the knee-jerk reactionaries, but she has NOTHING on Rand Paul.

One of my favorite political ads ever features Democrats in their own words, speaking of how Iraq (specifically it's chemical and nuclear weapons) was the greatest threat the US faced. Lots of talk about WMDs long before Bush ever came into office. Clinton famously said he was supprised none were found.

Of course, WMD was only one of over 20 reasons Congress authorized the war, but the media hyped WMD.

And at least Bush got Congressional approval for his wars...

Incorrect on all counts.

I wouldn't say 'best' because there's nothing good about the brutal method of death, but Cicero's beheading at the order of Octavian was a very important event during the last days of Rome as a Republic.
I thought Antony ordered it and his wife gloated over it >_<?!

Technically it was the Second Triumvirate (Antony, Octavian, and Lepidus) who proscribed his death. I should of stated that rather than just Octavian.

When has a right-winger ever owned anyone?

there was that one time when someone said Obama was a socialist and anti-american. And that other time when they went after Clinton for getting his dick sucked in the oval office.

And then there was that time when Roger Ailes literally destroyed politics in America forever with his divisive brand of divide and conquer politics of which individuals like Rupert Murdoch and Karl Rove are disciples, helping to elect several horrific presidents and, as a result, directly causing the further decline of the entire country.

That was pretty big ownage. Of America.

Random but I would love to see George W. Bush beat Obama in a boxing match.

lol yes, Jon Stewart pwns O'Reilly or any Fox contributor whenever they square up. Stewart exposes them for what they are, characters. Kills Bill w/debate and drops the "c'mon, I know you're smarter than that", that's just kicking a dude while he's down. It's a shame Fox viewers really believe some of that b.s. The folks at Fox are all multi-millionaires, the hell do they know about the "real america"?

That one is great.

And who can forget when Howard Dean owned himself with his "I have a Scream" speech?

I have been following your posts for a while. Are we having trouble finding videos of right wingers owning liberals/democrats? This isn't a political gaffe thread or a political hypocrisy thread. If it were, I assure you we'd have about 5 pages by now full of posts showing Republicans that have contradicted themselves or looking like fools.

Australian politics in a case of self pwnage....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hReBMauqhrY

Opposition leader Mark Latham tried to gorilla handshake the Prime Minister and portrayed himself as a bully to the public.

even worse.... he made a stupid excuse of blaming the prime minister for having a "flappy" handshake

That was a great one. Those of us who have been following politics for any amount of time know that more often then not, politicians pwn themselves, but it's pwnage none the less!

That's funny, because I'd say an inability to pay attention to anything that isn't instantly gratifying is doing vastly more damage than an us vs. them mentality, which has existed since the dawn of man.

My point is the fact that the gratifying experience of watching those videos does nothing, but to further divide people.

I understood your point, I just didn't think it was very meaningful. People with differing opinions on how government should be run are going to be divided. It's been that way forever, and it will continue to be that way.
