See, I don't like things like that, whether it's coming from the right or the left. He looked like an asshole bullying her like that. He's not trying to explain anything to her, he's not trying to elevate the conversation, he's just being a prick. That woman is just one of many regular Americans whose had a shitload of lies and misinformation jammed down her throat to the extent where fear has taken hold, and she felt like standing up and expressing her frustration. Misguided or not.
That person is not an idealogue, she is not a michelle bachman or a sarah palin - who have become so detached from reality that nothing you say to them will change their mind; that woman was just an example of how easy it is to invoke fear and anger in people who don't spend a lot of their time following politics.
That woman needed someone to sit down with her and her family and directly explain what the healthcare bill included and how it would affect her personal situation, what the tarp bill did and why it was needed, what the bailouts did and DID NOT do, and what the hell a single payer system actually is.
He looses it like a temper-tantrum child and people mistake that as being "a strong minded individual", when he sound more like a wife-beater after a few drinks.
She did not need a ratings whore talking down to her and trying to make her look stupid in order to make himself look big.
