What about non,of the above...And for all the ones that choose the 360...That console did NOT deserved that title, the Red Ring Of Dead was the greatest disaster in console history EVER.....you all cant denai that...

I can't believe this even needed a poll.

The 360 era is one of the greatest in all of gaming, hands down.

What a fumble since.

I'll go with OG Xbox.

360 might have improved online multiplayer and the socializing aspect in the console space - but I had more fun with the competitive and cooperative nature of the OG Xbox. A lot more good games to play, first party and third party - compared to just Halo, Gears, COD and Bad Company 2 on the next generation when it comes to this space.

Even though OG Xbox had the luxury of a short life-span - the 360 was only actually strong for half a generation.

360 for sure, one of the best consoles and games and rimes of all time. Honorable mention to the OG Xbox.

Whoever approved the idea of the Xbox one, the console itself and the direction MS went should all be fired.

MAKE XBOX GREAT AGAIN!

I want to love the 360, I really do. But I went through four of those things. The hardware failure rate was beyond stupid. I picked OG in the poll.

Xbox 360 was just an amazing console. Other than paid online, proprietary HDD's and RROD.

Still got my Xbox 360 Slim and played a few games earlier this year. The ability to install any disc-based game to your console for fasting loading and no disc drive sound was a great underrated feature. It had the best console version of third party titles, it was cheaper than the PS3 and it was quieter than the PS3.

OFC the RROD was horrific, though my launch PS3 had the YLOD so...

I prefer the PS3 first party games but as an overall package the 360 is the better console of it's era imo, and MS will never recapture what they did.

i'm still using the third 360 i received in substitution back then
i have a good bunch of remaining titles to complete :)

the ogxbox was a rock solid system, but the 360 games collection i'm still into it

LOVE my OG Xbox. So much fun at the time. And the 1X was an impressive piece of kit. So very cool.

But the 360 gen was the best, hands-down.

(EDIT: Someone needs to post the "What is an Xbox?" gif. I'm disappointed, GAF.)

I had the most fun experiences with the OG Xbox, I have to say. Xbox link parties with Halo alone were worth it.

man the OG Xbox made me a legend among my social circle with XBMC on it but the 360 era especially the marketing events and campaigns for their releases were such an amazing time to be a gamer.

360 for various reasons, Small title updates that were quick to download, the PS2 in comparison would require updates that were in the hundreds of megabytes, trickling down often on a 8MB DSL connection. Optional game installs as standard means you can reduce wear and tear on your DVD drive and speed up loading times, Excellent UI (at least in the NXE era) and cross party chat.

It has to be the 360.

The only generation where they had a chance of taking over Sony.

360 obv, if you disregard the Kinect plot twist near the end

Love that the OG Xbox was basically the Dreamcast 2 though. Never had one back in the day, but recently got one (and just upgraded the HDD a few mins ago)

It's hard to choose between OG Xbox and 360. I love them both, and the sixth generation was such an amazing gen overall with Dreamcast, PS2 and Gamecube there as well.

I have fond memories of Halo LANs on the original Xbox, but 360 was their high point. It was also the last time it felt like they were genuinely interested in competing in the market.

Original Xbox. It was in a generation where it never stood a real chance to compete with the behemoth PS2, but they still come out offering a good amount of great games not available on other platforms. Along with a great online infustructure compared to the far less streamlined DC and PS2 methods.

360 had a great few years at the start, but that's mostly down to PS3 being a bit of a damp squid for a while. As soon as 2008-9 hit, Sony woke up and started to better the 360 for the remainder of that gen with far better first party offerings. Instead of Xbox sticking with a good thing, they decided to shit the bed with Kinnect bollocks, which then lead into the worst console unveiling of all time with the Xbone.

Original and not even close. The 360 started strong but the RROD and steady decline in the library thanks to Microsoft's horrible studio management drove me to Sony. The second half of the 360's cycle to this day turned Xbox into nothing but a Forza box for me and even that is down to Horizon after Motorsport got massacred.

For me it was the original Xbox. I had more fun and excitement with that console than any other.

360 had the most high-profile exclusives and a broad catalog of games, and it certainly sold well, but it ran out of gas halfway through the journey and lost the way. Good first half, lost the plot in the second half.

Xbox 360

I never got the Red Ring of Death. I had two Xbox 360s, the Elite Black Version and the Star Wars Version

Despite my issues with that gen, Microsoft Xbox 360 game library was FANTASTIC

Too bad the JRPG Support dried up after two to three years. I still need to play Magna Carta 2 and Infinite Undiscovery. I played a good variety of different genres on 360 with The Mass Effect Trilogy being my favorite Xbox 360 game

It was a great competitor to Playstation
