Was wondering the same thing. They got me interested there...Can ESO be played alone or is there a party required?
That's businessYou'll be able to play the fallout 5 on your phone but not on your playstation 5, damn that's petty.
Either way. You can play solo or go through the story with a group. Dungeons and Raids require a group but the game has a great matchmaking system. PVP has open world, instanced and Dueling options. Crafting is robust and most importantly VIABLE in all content. Can ESO be played alone or is there a party required?
Thank you, sounds interesting.Either way. You can play solo or go through the story with a group. Dungeons and Raids require a group but the game has a great matchmaking system. PVP has open world, instanced and Dueling options. Crafting is robust and most importantly VIABLE in all content.
ESO is one of the best MMOs out right now.
Just watched the part where he mentions it. Yeah nothing really to twist here, Games already on other systems will be supported, and contractual obligations will be met, even with 'possible future content for those games' which obviously means possible future dlc for games already out. And all future games, out of contractual obligations, will be PC and Xbox exclusive.
So yeah current games on Playstation will be supported, even with possible future dlc, but anyhting out of currently relresed games, or games where a contract is already in place (like those 2 Bethesda PS5 games), will be PC and Xbox.
I wonder if Starfield will have any PS5 contract already in place.
This is actually hilarious because it exposes how sony's arrogance hurts their fans if they dont allow GP (which they wont)
This is the part where he states (and why I think he is leaving that option open): "...even future titles where we have contractual things or legacy on different platforms that we will go do...", the bolded part in this word for word quote, is what tells me that it will depend on the existing franchises legacy on other platforms. If there is a large enough fanbase, they may release it and they have done this in the past with Minecraft; so I don't see Microsoft ruling that out. I do think that if they did that without bias, it would make Microsofts position on the whole thing a lot stronger. Some of you guys really do act like fanboys. I will share the part where he states this but until then, I will let you guys have your fun.
I already have an XSX btw. You guys are pretty sad though. lol
Its not like Sony is running out and spending $7 billion so that Xbox fans can enjoy games lol. You'll be able to play the fallout 5 on your phone but not on your playstation 5, damn that's petty.
I think what Phil meant by that is things that are out already like ESO.This is the part where he states (and why I think he is leaving that option open): "...even future titles where we have contractual things or legacy on different platforms that we will go do...", the bolded part in this word for word quote, is what tells me that it will depend on the existing franchises legacy on other platforms. Now you guys go on and continue your fanboy-shenanigans. Uff. I entered a bee hive or more like a hornets nest.
Maybe Sony will release a decent browser or allow Microsoft to release a Gamepass app on the Ps5You'll be able to play the fallout 5 on your phone but not on your playstation 5, damn that's petty.
Sony brags about how much profits they make on PS4 the past gen. Maybe if Sony opened up the coffers to grab companies like Bethesda they'd have bigger exclusive locks on games. Its not like Sony is running out and spending $7 billion so that Xbox fans can enjoy games lol.
Sony has done everything they can in the past to lock games out of Xbox. That's why I was so confused as to why people thought Xbox would release these games on PlayStation.
In the gaming industry, legacy games refer to current products that have been released. So like when a gaming studio says they are going to "legacy" a title, it means they'll support it if it requires patches or updates but they are no longer making content for it. Fallout 3 is a legacy title. They no longer make dlc for it. It is requires some gamefixing patch, they'll do it. But that's it. Legacy does NOT mean, using the Fallout example, that Fallout 6 is a legacy title. This is the part where he states (and why I think he is leaving that option open): "...even future titles where we have contractual things or legacy on different platforms that we will go do...", the bolded part in this word for word quote, is what tells me that it will depend on the existing franchises legacy on other platforms. But why would he state that twice? He mentions existing titles that they will continue to support since they have a community and later on goes on to say "...even future titles.."I think what Phil meant by that is things that are out already like ESO.

I personally think you're personally mistaken about Starfield, personally. I'm happy to eat crow if I'm wrong but Starfield is a big game and a new IP. No reason to make it multiplat,I personnaly think Starfield will be one of the games that will be multiplatform, since it is already in development for a long time. I could be wrong, but doesn't make sense otherwise.
I think more unannounced projects could be pure exclusive or "timed". I think they really want to focus on Gamepass.
