Yeah, this is what I don't understand, it's fine to boycott Activision considering all the shit that has happened, but pandering to this social media outcry is only hurting everyone.

Why? well, because it's based on accusations, not a fair trial, and has extreme repercussions beyond any logic. If some girl said that Geoff had slapped her on the ass in 1992, people would want his head, even if he never meet the girl, nobody would give a shit because once the accusation is out it's already over. And this is the sort of mentality that Geoff is catering to, he's playing to the audience that would crucify him for minor accusations.
