As long as the weapons are actually effective and I don't spend most of the back-half of the game using the wrench like BS1...
I wonder how viable a Skyhook-only playthrough is.

Busy day, sorry. Two weapons at a time is same on consoles and PC. Upgrades persist on weapons once you equip the relevant gear. So by tossing aside your handcannon to use an MG cos you have ammo for it at the time, then grabbing another Handcannon later won't eliminate your upgrade.

...on 1999 mode
Opportunity abounds to switch weapons constantly. Ever AI drops the weapon it wields when killed, Tears contain weapons, vending machines contain weapons, the world contains weapons. Thanks for the info. I have no problem with two weapons combined with all vigors.

Any word on a NG+ option OneLetter?

A fully upgraded wrench in BS1 was unbelievably OP.
Loved it

Is the console performance as poor as initially thought? I own BS1 and BS2 on X360, and I'd like to get BI for it for continuity's sake, but if the performance is really bad, I'll go for PC.
I actually don't understand his complaint. The other weapons in Bioshock were plenty effective.
I always just considered Bioshock's super-wrench as one of the most obvious homages to System Shock 2.
Any word on GMG and Steam pre-loading?
If you buy it on steam you can pre-load now but I heard that GMG doesn't get their keys until Tuesday.

Do you know how big the download is? Stupid bandwidth caps and March has been a big month for games. If you buy it on steam you can pre-load now but I heard that GMG doesn't get their keys until Tuesday.
Tuesday? wtf.
I went to steam to pre-load it, but it took like two seconds and the pre-load option still pops up when I click on the game. I can't imagine that's right, is it?
I've heard this Tuesday thing a few places but have yet to see an official source on it. GMG usually starts sending out Friday-to-Monday before the release.

GMG never guarantee pre loads but they usually get it to you before the release date.
14.9 GB
Restart steam, the same thing happened to me.
As I mentioned before, I got my Steam key for DmC from GMG in time to pre-load that game. I think this Tuesday thing is just an unsubstantiated rumor, I would be surprised if I didn't have the game pre-loaded by the time it unlocks on Steam.
And apparently a ~10GB HD Texture pack.
Has anyone here received the AMD Reloaded code yet? Do you also get a code for the Industrial Revolution game?
this has probably been asked before and im sorry, but can you use the $30 2k credit on the season pass? (amazon deal)
It won't work right away but yes. You have to wait until 30 days have passed to use the credit on the season pass (according to Tony on CAG).
I knew nothing about the things Elizabeth could do. The IGN video review is spoilerish as hell man wtf????
Don't watch videos!!!
Wow I just heard about the 2 weapon limit, what the hell? That is super disappointing. How are you supposed to have the strategic elements from Bioshock 1 without lots of weapons at your disposal?
In Bio 1 on the hardest difficulty you would need to set traps, use all weapons to take out multiple big daddy's etc. because you would be low on ammo. 2 weapon limit really sucks, it's less fun.
*Starts pre-loading on steam, sees it's only 15GB*
Where's my other 15GB KEN ?!
Did anyone post up Part 2 of Ken reading BioShock Fan Fiction? These are so good.

It will unlock at the same time as the base game and you will download it from there.Where will this be available? Can I pre-load that too, or will I have to wait until later?
