I mean, holy shit, even Guild Wars 2 who I thought had some pricey stuff at least lets you use all those costumes on every character you have ever made, anytime you like.

This is some serious nickel and diming bullshit of players. And to pour salt on the wounds the visual aspects of players armour have been almost non-existent except a few ones you get maybe once in a while, so the costumes are the few opportunities you have to actually get some new looks to your character if you don't wanna look like everyone else around you, which you still do if people buy these costumes.

Maybe not the best solution, but I saw a suggestion to change your keyboard in the computer settings to a QWERTY board and try it?

Or just mash all the buttons until you figure out which one is the right one?

I'm seeing a people saying to try resetting the keybinds to default until after the tutorial as well.

Yes, you can. I'm playing with a DS4 and, other than my shoulder buttons not working, rest works fine.

I wouldn't say combat is geared towards controllers, mainly because there's no lock on so aiming while you're comboing isn't as smooth as with a mouse, but you can play perfectly with it once you get used. You'll probably be at a disavantage in a 1vs1 PvP match though.

Also, keep in mind that the UI is totally mouse based, so you're gonna have to navigate it using a stick as a mouse.

Go to the website and log into your account. On the account page there should be a list of items you got with your package. There should be a name reservation item and a "Check" button that will tell you.

There are some good templates on sites like BDO templates as well if you want to use something as a base.
