Bah, annoying. One of my potato farmers seems to have bugged out. I have the option to start work with him, but get the message they're already working. Then the game brings up the work progress bar of what my other worker is doing. They're different level workers, so I know it's not just the same one.

Well I wish I knew that last night, for some reason I thought the Ferry would be something else. Oh well, at least I know how the crafting systems work now.

Yep nothing wrong with desiring a stress test on a pc game. Doesn't have to be a trial, but lots of games have these so it'd be great if there was a public one anyone can download.

lol I am jealous, totally want a boat.. I can't get anything done because I can't decide on a main character, keep bouncing back and forth between sorc and valk, fun for different reasons.
So, I'm absolutely inexperienced with Online games, but I know some games have a monthly fee while some have not afaik. But with this game once I paid the price mentioned on the website I don't have to pay any monthly fees, is that right?

I found out today that all boats have a lifespan bar, which can't be replenished, and when it runs out, your boat is destroyed. Sad times.

I would suggest we have people ask online officers in discord because it's alot faster to get a hold of someone than on GAF. Dunno if Ashodin wants to set it up any further and add a separate rank in discord for officers

Damage (red bar) can be repaired, but the ship will eventually wear out. (yellow bar)

Not directly in game, but you can view it in Windows (7 and later I think). Open the Task Manager and on the 'Performance' tab, at the bottom click the which says 'Open Resource Monitor'.
Now in the Resource Monitor, go to the Network section and scroll down to view 'TCP Connections' and then look for Black Desert on the list of programs. This will give an approximation of the ping, under latency.

The FFXIV esque control system for Steam controller is coming on well. There's a few limitations though, mainly in that you can't seem to assign multiple mode shifts to the same buttons. The layout for mode shifts is a bit weird tbh. They should be manageable through the button that shifts it directly, rather than going to the button that gets modified as a result of pressing something else.
In this case, I can't seem to assign the face buttons to be mode shifted through both the left trigger and the right trigger. It only supports doing it for one of them.

Someone actually made a thread about it on the official forums after a community manager said they were open to suggestions. If you'd like to be able to repair your boat go here and leave your input. I have no idea if they'll actually listen or if that community manager was simply trying to placate people, but it can't hurt to try.
Also I do not recommend straying into the general section. That was a poor decision on my part.

Most of the suggestions in that thread (including the OP's) suggest repairs costing materials and people have put forth the idea of max durability degradation on repair so implementing repair doesn't necessarily mean destroying the economy.

Beware of buying Daum Cash. I bought some on Sunday and tried to buy pearls, I got a Daum Cash retrieval error and it all disappeared. Support has not responded to my ticket, no acknowledgement on the support forums, and nothing through social media. Some have reported they heard a reply through twitter saying they are aware, but no clue when it will be resolved. I feel like my money has been stolen.
