There are...60 some odd pages of posts since the last time I checked in. Last I read, the game was pretty, but lacking substance and it was hard as balls to get invited to.

Either of those things changed yet? I'm sort of interested still.

Not sure what you're talking about unless you mean the lack of PvP/node warfare being in yet (it still isn't). Quests, tradeskills, grinding, node-management metagame, world bosses, PvPing... there's so much to do I average about 5 hours a day and only have time to participate in a fraction of what I just listed. Will I last at this pace for a year or more like in other MMOs? I dunno, probably not, but there are a lot of classes I could play as alts and always more money to be made and more of the world will be coming in updates. It's not going to be a raid-centric game so look elsewhere if that's what you mean by substance.

We have a medium guild boss scroll that expires in a couple of days. We have only done the small ones up to this point so not sure what to expect. It's still Ferrid but it recommends 20 people.

Try and log in around 9 PM EST/6 PM PST if possible! We will need as many people as we can get. Come join us to get your free 100k silver, blackstones, and Liverto weapons!

Notes:

- You can participate and get rewards at any level (but expect to be one-shot if you are below level 50)
- Your participation is not reset if you die. Die as much as you want and still get rewards.
- You do not lose EXP for a death during a guild boss
- You do not break crystals if you die during a guild boss
- You cannot be PK'd while the boss is up

NO REASON NOT TO COME FOR FREE STUFF

Damn, working overtime tonight so can't be there for boss scroll. I still need to join the guild too lol. 45 atm, was wanting to get 50 before joining, but guess theres no reason to wait.

Being 50 then joining the guild is missing out on all the fun.

Hell my main is still under 40 for like...forever.

Hmm, is there a lot of interaction with GAFfers for the guild and whatnot? I still haven't bought this but I'm most likely going to have a lot of free time this summer and being on a group call on Discord or something doing cool GAF guild shit sounds like a lot of fun.

My biggest worry is spending $30-$50 and getting bored being stuck grinding by myself.

supposed to go to a hostess bar tonight but I want to try this guild boss battle..decisions, decisions.. need to join the guild first though. Main is lvl 51 valkyrie but armor/weapons have only been enhanced to level 7-8

For the most part it's a single player game with things u can do with the guild... I do almost everything by myself except boss scrolls and guild missions. Node wars hasn't been added yet. This isn't a theme park mmorpg that requires groups to do content.... but that being said 1-50 isn't grindy at all when you do the side ways lvling with all the other stuff. I still have not run out of things to do. The guild is pretty helpful if you are willing to ask for help.

rumor is one of the officers in the guild still isn't level 50 and was allowed to stay.
cannot confirm afraid to look at guild list or talk in chat ya know shy type. :p

that medium sized boss scroll was mega fun, luls I keep seeing immune flying up off him and critical, had to keep squinting at my screen wondering if I should you know use a different attack or if my attack worthy, but then when I saw my ultimate black spirit counter not rising I knew I was pretty ineffectual thoughout the entire fight.

Oh yeah for that under level 50 not in guild someone else who isn't level 50 even got boss armor loot today so yeah....I got like 4-5 armor stones and 1 weapon stone after looting boss and turning in the 7 hunter's seals I got and 1 gold brick.

Currently face-deep into Dark Souls 3 right now, but if i can catch a guild boss when i'm home i'll log on for it. Currently Evenings are worst times for me since classes and work are later in the day for me, Friday and Sunday are my only free days, but saturdays i'm usually home by 6 PM PDT

Seems the servers are still down? I thought 1300 UTC was 0800 EST? Oh well, guess i'll check back later!

Any idea what else they are adding along with the patch? Aside from the new class?

There is a new interview at MMORPG.com. Not much new information and a lot of non-answers but this tidbit was nice:

MMORPG: How do you feel about the current availability of different cosmetic looks for players in terms of armor and weapons? A lot of players feel that there aren’t enough outside of the Pearl Store.

DGPA: We are aware of that the in-game costumes are not sufficient to meet the players’ needs. We are constantly working on to diversify in-game costumes. First of all, various costumes worn by NPCs will be available as DIY (craftable) costumes. As you may already know, players can already produce certain NPC costumes such as Calpheon Noble Dress, and we plan to intensify this feature to improve visual diversity in costumes that can be obtained in-game.

Is there any room in the Gaf guild? My friend and I have been playing this together daily since launch and are just now getting interested in large scale social play, I figured the guild here would be a great option, but not sure if it's already filled up or not.

I hope they do, there are some great outifts that NPCs are wearing. I don't want to give them ideas, but allow them to be craftable and then charge money (or loyatly) at a reasonable price for a costume voucher.

The voucher is already a thing, we just haven't received it yet. So take that feature and expand the outfits we are able to use it on.

Bleh, stupid game.

Was just riding back to heidel from glish when boom, game crashes. Now it doesn't load saying a file is corrupted. Crashes when it hits the world map phase.

Now I have to wait for the file checker and whatnot to get through the game...so slow

They should add those NPC costumes as incredibly hard-to-craft costumes that require many professions.

I'm talking 10+ million silver each, with each one requiring proficiency in one life skill. One can only be made from materials you get from a trading quest that requires high trading. One from gathering a material that can only be gathered by someone with high gathering. Etc.

And one that requires you to breed a t7 horse to get.

I can hear the rage from here and it is a glorious symphony.

Any chance you guys know why fullscreen windowed mode doesn't get along with g-sync? It makes the whole screen flash constantly as the framerate fluctuates. Fullscreen it's fine. I turned off v-sync, and used nvidia control panel to set my refresh rate to 144hz.

Yeah, need to be on the same channel: Calpheon 01

Going to be switching between my alt and my Musa so send a whisper to "Kuronuma" or "Kuroboshi" when you're online and on Calpheon 01. Unless doing something specific, try to stick to Calpheon 01 since that's where all the guild quests will be activated. You will not see them otherwise and we can't renew member's guild contracts unless you're on the same channel.
