I have played so much BDO in the last few days it`s not even funny. The 200% xp boost for returning players is very handy. My current plan is to get all my characters to 50 before I decide what to main (Sorc is in the lead at the moment).
I spent all of yesterday getting my gathering and processing up to Pro and then doing a load of life skill quests culminating in my long held goal of being able to make pure metal crystals. I don`t need to make pure metal crystals. I was just annoyed I never could. Now I can.
Are we expecting the christmas event to go live today? That would technically give me four "events" on the go. Returning players, regular player daily checkin, those rings and christmas. MUST KILL ALL THE THINGS

Yay, I didn't think the devs could improve upon already excellent, well balanced game but this Christmas event and snow just makes the game even more amazing!! I can't wait to fire up the game as soon as I git home!!!
I'm busy levelling all my characters to either 50 (In the case of my sorc) and the end of 49 while I have 200% returning player xp. I thought I was going to be maining my sorc for a while but at 30 my Kunoichi seem really fun to play.
So far I have a tamer at 51, Sorc at 50, zerker at 49. My witch ended up turning into my crafter/fisher so I don't plan to ever level her to pvp capable to make things less stressfull. I've got various other characters at different stages. One of each apart from a couple of the blokes.

Could someone give me some ranger advice? Up until level 40 I was doing fine. Evasive explosive shot mixed in with some other stuff to knock down did the trick. As soon as I hit 40 my damage turned to shit and it was an utter chore getting to the end of 49. My weapons are +10. I'm kitted out for a lot of extra accuracy. Is there something I'm missing?

So, I've dabbled a bit in BDO here and there, and I'm just picking it up again on a new rig. In higher resolutions the sharpening filter is just awful (especially currently where there's snow on the ground).
Anyone else have a fix for the vegetation or maybe a way to force AA for a bit of a softer image? Figured I'd ask here first.

I gave it a shot yesterday and I thought it was kinda alright from what I was able to do in the short amount of time.
At some point it crashed on me though so I decided to take a break and do something else.
Just wanted to play it again but I cant find my character anymore, like I even have to select a new family name?
Is that normal and Im just too dumb to find my char or is it gone?

You might be logging into the wrong region. I think there`s an option in the launcher to change it. It might have gotten reset when it crashed on you

I'm currently testing out my abilities in Mediah and am nearly level 52. I've got some half decent gear (About 87ap and just over 100dp). The Helm's hold guys hit quite hard so I need to be careful but I kill them quickly enough. I do need to earn more money though. I spend it really quickly
145 energy and 173 contrib. Sitting on three spare fishing boats. My crafter is doing well. The biggest problem in this game is there's so much I want to do and I can only do one of it at a time I fancy more contrib points to give me more flexability but that cuts into the money making

I fancy more contrib points to give me more flexability but that cuts into the money makingFor the Lavientia's event going on I processed a bunch of stuff today. I could only get the silver/gold rings (the things that grant buffs not rng chests) to proc more than 1 on each processing attempt. I don't know if that means the other stuff is really hard/rare to proc, or if it is unable to proc more than 1.

No clue what the nodes are for or how I properly navigate the map, so I just follow the arrows to the nearest quest and do whatever they want me to do. I havent spend a single skill point yet and Im actually afraid of doing the awakening quest since I still have no clue what would be good for my character.
Also it took me around 30 minutes to figure out where I could buy raw sugar and water for the horse taming quest. At least it made me find a couple new npcs and quests so I aint even mad.

They should have all been sent to stables since they merged all the servers together.
You can freely change skill points until level 56 so go ahead and mess around, and leveling skills is worth it. Do the awakening quests because at that level they add things your blackspirit can do. The first time you can awaken an ability is level 50.
Nodes are for using workers to gather, connecting cities/towns together to ship stuff between places, if you get "trade" items from monsters you can sell them for full price, and once you get higher level you can invest in them to get a better chance at getting loot.
At you level you basically want them for workers to gather things from. You also will get energy from knowledge by talking to all the node managers, so if you see one right click it on the world map and it should bring you right to the node manager.
As in you have not logged into the game for 30 days? The timer would have started from when you logged into one of the channels, or maybe it would start from actually logging into a character.

The P2W aspect has been overblown, mostly by haters of the game and it's buy to play no fees.
yea buy to play, you can also get a buff (sub) that lasts a duration like 7/30 days in the cash shop which gives stuff like extra inventory space,10% more xp or char editing for free
theres even a 7day trial for everyone right now

Also does the trial have restrictions, partcuarly on customization element?

When I go to my account page I only have options for purchase or code.

I just jumped in for $5. Seems I have a clipping problem with Warrior though.
Body clips through armors to when I was creating him. Anybody seen this bug? Know a fix?

I'm trying out a free 7-day trial, I have spent quite a money lately and while I'm really enjoying the game, I'm kinda loathing the idea of my impending fee of $30. I mean, I can eventually pay it but is the game on sale or something? Is the 5 dollars just for 7 days?
