Amazon's Black Friday deals starting on the 19th at an undisclosed time, likely running lightening deals through the day, but, here are some of the items guaranteed up (stolen from bens bargains):

Home Theater

Roku HD 720p Streaming Player $39
Panasonic DMP-BD87 Blu-ray Disc Player for $68
Samsung HW-E350 32" AirTrack Soundbar for $98
Sceptre SB20202B Home Theater Soundbar for $38

HDTVs

Samsung UN32EH4003 32" 720p LED HDTV for $248
Coby LEDTV2326 23" 1080p LED HDTV/Monitor for $78

So the two I bolded above are what I'm interested in. How good are these TV's for console gaming?

Also, how fast do you have to be come the 19th to snag one of them up, and which should I lean towards?

The lightning deals are pretty weak compared to what Best Buy and Walmart are putting out. They're basically price match those two stores, and only a portion of what's advertised, which is only a portion of the total.

They usually have other blu-rays on sale though, just not as lightning deals. However, last year I got a bunch of really good deals at Walmart / Target that were not advertised in the ads and Amazon never ended up price-matching, so I'll probably go out to the stores again, especially since now there's tax on Amazon.

If Amazon can get the Bond 50 BD deal cheaper than Best Buy's $130, then it's a go. Otherwise, I have no problems using my $5 coupon on top of the Best Buy sale starting this Sunday.

Vizio 60 inch from Amazon is tempting. Probably gonna tell my brother about that one too, he's definitely is in need for a new television.

I'll let you know about that Toshiba when I get home. I bought it for $360.00 today at Fred Meyer. I'm not much of a Black Friday shopper, so it was a good enough deal for me. I'm hoping it will look nicer than my 5 year old Sony LCD. I picked it up to be a TV for my bedroom, but if it is better than my old TV, it will become my gaming TV.

Are there any deals on The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo blu ray posted yet?

Nothing great.

Best Buy has a buy one at $14.99 get one deal free deal on select titles from the 18th -21st.
Titles are: Dragon Tattoo, 21 Jump Street, the Vow, Pirates Band of Misfits, and Resident Evil: Damnaton.

Target has just the DVD for $4.

I'm surprised I didn't see this in here, but I saw over at slick deals that Sears is offering a 50'' Toshiba model 50L2200U 1080p LED HDTV for $299. I was planning on getting that 40" from amazon, but might go for this instead.

I work on Thanksgiving 8pm to Black Friday 8am, so Black Friday will be sleep for me- Cyber Monday is where its at anyways.

Hoping for less than $120 for the Bond Blu-Ray set.
Me too.

8 PM - 8 AM? That's awful.

Looking at the Amazon sales, I'll probably get The Prisoner: The Complete Series blu-ray, Get a Life complete series, The Last of the Mohicans blu-ray for myself, and The Abbott & The Costello Show: The Complete Series for my dad. As for the video game sale, I'm definitely getting WWE '13 for $25 and probably the Ratchet & Clank Collection & Dualshock 3 controller.

I'm going all in for two Best Buy deals- NFS Most Wanted and the Killzone Trilogy/DualShock 3 bundle.

I'm good otherwise.

I know there's not a perfect answer for this or anything. But to those who are braving the crowds for a 8 pm thanksgiving sale what time are you showing up to wait in line? I think I'm gonna try Sears.

Wow those movie/tv show deals on amazon are pretty lame. IT crowd is the only thing that even came close piquing my interest.

So, I don't feel like this was a bad deal, but the audio is pretty poor. Setting the TV up was a little difficult. There is a 'power saver' setting turned on by default that makes the TV look really dim. Once I turned that off, the TV really popped. The screen quality is great. Black levels are way better than my old TV. I'm still trying to nail down the settings, and I'm checking out a bunch of games to try and stack it up against my old TV. So far they seem comparable.

Like I said, it isn't a bad deal at all, but the speakers are not as good as they could be.

Amazon has to come through with the cheap Mad Men BR's. Leftover turkey and HD Mad Men marathons have become a tradition damnit.

This. Goddamnit this.
Probably have to go in store and fight plebs for it :(

Amazon typically has a butt load of DVD/Blu-ray discounts next week. Last year, they didn't pre announce them. All that came out in advance was the Lighting Deals.

Probably around the time the 12:00pm NFL game starts lol. Opening at 8 is just ridiculous and more states should follow the blue law or whatever that is. It's Thanksgiving. Every store should be closed and be with the families.

Best Buy is selling a 500GB hard drive for $40 on BF, does anyone know if it's in-store only or also online? I would probably be able to go out and get it if need be but online is much more preferable

I'm confused at the Galaxy S3 $.96 deal at Sam's Club.

Does this only apply if you're a totally new customer? I have an upgrade for a new phone, I don't understand if it applies to me. Also I'm a Verizon customer.
