maniac-kun said:The whole thing is a comercial. The fans get them enough money so that they could bradcast the show for free. And with all the money they make with wow they dont need 40 from me for a stream.

For us in Australia it'll start at 4:30am EST so less than 12 hours away. Early morning all the info will be out so I'm not going to bother staying up.evlcookie said:How many hours untill it starts?
$50AUD for the stream .. fuuucccckkk

And yes, it's stupidly expensive. Most of the information will all be tuned through the usual fansites over the week so it's not like anyone will miss out on anything.
Yeah true, but still not as cool as Pengu!evlcookie said:Yea but you could watch it .. and get a murloc pet for $50 :lol

OnPoint said:OK, so, I never played Diablo 2. Should I give it a go in anticipation for Diablo 3?
blizzard have said that SC2 will come out in the first half 2010 (hopefully), so there's plenty of time in the second half of 2010 for D3.Althoran said:Starcraft 2 coming out hopefully 2010 I don't need any more info on that. Day 1 purchase.
Diablo 3 will probably not come out in 2010 (just my opinion but 2 huge Blizzard games in one year would probably cause a lot of people to go into coma).
you answered your own question. :lolAlthoran said:Why do we always have to wait so long for Blizzard games? (ah well at least we can count on it being superb quality)

Naeblish said:Unfortunately, it makes much more sense from a business point of view to release the wow exp (second half 2010?) before D3. WoW may be gigantic but D3 will still take quite a few players (aka monthly subs) away. 2011.
Was just about to post this. :lolVorador said:They're charging 30 for the live stream?
WTF?

The BlizzCon website will host one stream featuring StarCraft and Warcraft III events and another dedicated to World of Warcraft. As in previous years, all of this streaming tournament coverage will be provided free of charge. Be sure to tune in to find out which teams and players are the best in the world by visiting the BlizzCon site on August 21 and 22.
To clarify, the tournament coverage streams are free, but to watch panels, see new announcements as they are made, or receive the in-game pet, you will need to order the Pay Per View Internet stream.

Well, sc2 is planned for first half 2010. Although i don't think sc2 and wow exp will be much competition to each other, my guess is they still won't release them close to one another.mclem said:I'm going to say that I think we'll either see the WoW expansion *much* earlier than that - or there will be a major patch *after* Icecrown Citadel. I still think 2010, but I'm reckoning very early 2010, Feb/March or so. After TBC, Blizzard have made it clear that they're reluctant to go for large swathes of time without new content; April brought Ulduar, August has brought the Coliseum. Second half 2010 would mean you're looking at at least ten months with only one patch to fill that space of time.
Oh, C'mon ! You know if they anounce it now, it will come out at least after 2 years >,<luka said:I'm not. I only started playing WoW a month ago. I've spent too much on it already for them to just go and cannibalize it so soon. Stretch it out a little longer please!
lich king's intro is on. This is what they did last year, played these 3 intros for 8hours.
Back to bed I guess. :D
Which is the url to watch the stream? I payed for it yesterday. Can't seem to see what you're seeing.
