Which chalice drops radial gems? I'm finally getting 5 rating gems but they're all crescent. I remember reading that the shape drops are dungeon dependent but I can't find that page anymore.

I found an uncanny stake driver in my foetid rotted lower hintertomb root dungeon in the third layer pre-boss bonus area.

Not much else of interest, except for a great cursed gemstone, but I think that one may be randomized so you might not get it.

Anyway, if anyone wants the uncanny stake driver, the glyph code is gh2c924e. Even though it has both foetid and rotted offerings, it's not very difficult. I actually found my regular lower hintertomb root dungeon much more difficult (that one was a bitch though, in a good way).

I have tried that and it has been successful but you are right he is ruthless with the blades and thats when I get ripped apart. I'll keep giving it a go.
Yeah. Don't get greedy either. I was doing good and he did that combo in phase 3 which was the end of me. You'll get it soon. Patience is key.

Anyone got tips to beating
Pthumerian Descendant
in the final Chalice dungeon? I tried using Ludwigs Holy Blade through the pillars and I never hit it but it gets me.

Pistol + visceral attack. I had a non-upgraded pistol and it was a cakewalk. The blunderbuss was too slow.

I think when you beat R
om
. But it is an absolutely phenomenal track. Sends chills down my spine and is basically synonymous with my time in Bloodborne.
Getting dragged into a prison by a weird monster walking around with a sack, what a game
.
I really love the ost of Bloodborne. Everything is very well done.
Gah finally went down but that was so mechanically frustrating. Lock-on was not on my side; kept whipping around so I kept rolling into the boss.
Nice! But the camera is rough in those rooms.

Bloodborne has some pretty diverse creatures. What's your favorite boss design?

I think for me it's
Amygdala
; I love how its eyes bug out for the laser attack.

Is there anywhere else that drops Red Jelly? or do I have to create Wizard of Isz chalice in order to find the 2 more I need?

I just beat her last night. if you still need help let me know
Google for their location. Didn't need to do Isz before hand. In fact by creating Ihyll, I could then buy the Jelly to create Isz.

Moon Presence
is so slender and it reminds of a panther which are awesome.
Moon Presence
is a sweet as hell design. I understand why a lot of people consider it disappointing after
the amazing Gehrman fight
, but it's still a fun battle with an interesting twist
using the regain system to stay alive at the end.

Thanks, thought there was another location other than those. I'll have to run through lower loran again and find where I missed them.

Not that I am aware of. The jellys are located in lower Loran layer 2 and 3. Also, if you could access people's glyphs, you could try looking at the root chalice list and join one with easy access to a jelly.

Congrats man and welcome to the club! I agree with your overall impression. This was my favorite game of the year and last year. The combat is fantastic and very well done.

Thanks man, it really opened my eyes to the series and, although it's largely regarded as the lesser entry, I'm now tempted to check out DS2 over the summer.

Very easy +100 rapid poison res stunning deep sea rune in dungeon with glyph code 8jv9v6bc. It's in the first layer pre-layer bonus area. Can be reached in a couple of minutes. I have no idea what else is in this dungeon, and I'm going to bed now, but it might be useful for someone.

Is there a way to dodge the blue laser attack of
Ebrietas

I've had her down to less than 1/3 health 4 times but just get chewed up by this

Man, even with all three Eye runes equipped, getting Blood Stone Chunks from the werewolves in
Upper Cathedral
is still a serious chore.

Did like 8 runs, killing all 5 werewolves, and it yielded 3 Blood Stone Chunks. I had 331 discovery. Small sample size, but still...not fun just to level up some weapons.

I was wondering, I just beat the game, started fresh and I'm looking at getting the
blades of mercy
early on in the game. If I do so, will I not be able to get
henryk's armor
on this playthrough?

No, I went there a lot before fighting CB and FG but she was never there.

I'm wondering did me unlocking the Forbidden Woods/Iosefkas Clinic early through the wall jumping glitch trigger her not to appear.
Probably, when I did that, I wasn't able to get capture and sent to jail because the bag guy never appeared. Thus, I wasnt able to meet the capture nun.

I mean, it's not THAT easy; it took me three tries to get it but the design is fabulous.

DS2 is a good game that'll need some adjusting due to the pace.

Yeah you can. Kill
Eileen
and
Henryk
and you'll get her weapon and
Henryk's
armor.

Gaf, I'm completely unitiated when it comes to the Chalice Dungeons, but I'm ready to jump in. They seem a lot more complex than I initially thought, so I'm just wondering how I should tackle them. I have the 3 Root Chalices from the main game bosses; should I just go progress through them all in a natural fashion? Any I should do first, etc?

Thanks!

I'd say ideally be a level 120-130 to tackle the harder dungeons. That was my general level and it was still hard as nails at times. Also if you want to get to the final chalice you need the living string and make sure you have the 2 red jellies from the main 'campaign'. The dungeons start off incredibly easy but get far harder as you progress to the lower levels (especially defiled chalice where you have 50% health).

If you have the time to spare, I think my tip would be to not just do the ones needed for the trophy. In my experience, the non-random dungeons are easier and don't really contain much loot. The randomized ones are much more fun in my experience. More challenging, and you can make them even more challenging through additional offerings. Also, in my experience, the randomized dungeons have much better loot.

I got
Amygdala
on Defiled Chalice to a sliver health then got hand slammed. Am cry. Lost my will to continue. I'll try again in couple of hours. Sigh.
