BOMBA: Xbox Series Controller is $39.99 at Amazon/Best-Buy/Microsoft Store in the US.

Leonidas

AMD's Dogma: ARyzen (No Intel inside)
Good to see the price drop on this controller by 33% less than two weeks after launch.

Will go nicely with my PC once I'm able to order a new GPU.

White is out of stock at Microsoft.

Black is out of stock at Amazon.

Best Buy has all models as of the time this post.

Blue model with it's $5 premium is $44.99.

Might be available at the same price at other retailers, but the only other one I checked was GameStop who is selling it for $49.99.

Are XONE controllers fully compatible with Series X or do you need a brand new controller like with the PS5? That could explain things.

Good, the controller improved in every way they could, you can't improve perfection...

The dpad is really good for fighting games and the grip also...

The Xbox controller was already a GOD send to begin with. The improved d pad is icing on the cake.

FYI: for some reason the "new" controller is listed on Amazon.ca as "Xbox One Controller". It's most definitely the new model, though, and you can see this if you scroll down the Xbox Series X page (from which you select it) and see the product release date.

In terms of improvements the DPad and tighter sticks feel like night and day compared to an Xbox One controller.

I find the new controller to be a nice improvement over the X1S controller.

Off the top of my head:
1. USB-C wired port
2. New improved D-Pad
3. Share Button
4. Superior texturing

I would have been all over this deal if I wasn't accustomed on using the enhanced Power A controllers. Get the Series X/S version because I highly recommend those controlleres

Imo its the same controller with new textures
The D-Pad is fantastic on the new controller and the triggers having a texture to them is also good. But what it really does it has an improved latency. This is the thing that many are not noticing...but I have tested it a lot. I have the Series X controller, a Gen 1 Elite Controller and the Gen 2 Elite controller and I can really tell the latency is better on the new controller in the few games I tested. I also feel the slightly smaller form factor is a bit better as well.

The new controller justs feel right. Its been resized and the textured grips makes this controller one of the best.

Agree. It just feels really great and is just a great evolution of the Xbox One controller. Funny how some just dismiss all the changes...most likely they never even tried it. The latency thing you don't appreciate it until you try using a Xbox One controller and you can tell big time imho.

What do you need to play this on a PC? Does it come with a cable or you have to buy one?

You can use Bluetooth if your PC has a wireless module. Otherwise, they have a USB dongle which I actually prefer using over BT since it's dedicated and I've had zero issues with it.

I actually switched from using the Elite Series 2 to the Core controller. I've been playing with it all day and despite being $160 cheaper, I like the Core controller better. I already thought the Xbox One controller was good but the new d-pad is perfect and the grips on the back and triggers elevate to an all time great controller.

Bomba? It's a controller for a console that's sold out. It's not even required to use one to play on the Series X.

One of the weirdest uses of the term I've seen.

crazy talk. You must not have been using the triggers I guess? Buying an elite controller and not using the triggers is madness.

Just bought the blue one so that I can use it on Wednesdays. :D

Hoping the Dual Sense would also get some discount in near future, so that I can get a 2nd one...
