I'm really enjoying it. I picked it up on PS3 last year during summer to play with my friend (she was SUPER high levelled though, so when we were doing my campaign missions it felt like I was just along for the ride, as she'd be shooting through bosses in a few hits) but never really got into it. I then got it again on PS3 via PS+ and didn't touch it, but I thought since I'd just bought myself a Vita 2000 (I already have a 1000 but the increased battery life really spoke to me), I'd pick this up to go with it.
And it's great. I feel like it suits the Vita much more. I have real trouble grinding in non-portable games, and this seems like a pretty grindy game so it's suited imo. Controls aren't terrible, there's a bit of an issue with sprint/melee but other than that it feels really good. I don't like that it doesn't seem to render bullets all the time (which makes it difficult to aim), but other than that, it's great. Only seen one severe framerate drop and that was when there was a lot going on on screen.
I wonder why they went for native res, though. If they could've achieved a smoother framerate at a lower res I feel like that may have been preferable. Although the art-style might then look horrific.
