Russell Jr has no power at all. Lots of shoe shine combos with nothing on them. Can't see how that was a split decision...
I may go to bed, completely uninterested in Robert GuerrerLOL
I think Gamboa is done, unless he lands something crazy. That body attack has sapped his movement and his speed; he looks like a zombie now. Crawford is dialing him in now.Crawford settled in nicely, lol
Yeah, for sure. Gamboa was sharp early, Crawford adjusted nicely, then the last round they just went nuts. Both men hurt, both unwilling to give ground, but Gamboa never learns, and keeps dropping his hands.Definitely a fight of the year candidate.
Looks like Pac will end up fighting Chris Algieri...

Cool, I guess. Doesn't really scream $59.95 PPV to me though

I think it's also that no one wants to go to Macau.Kinda hard to get excited for this one... I was hoping Arum would of come up with a more sexier match up given the fact that he's cool with De La Hoya again, but I guess Haymon has everyone at 140/147 locked in.

True (though, I'm guessing Algieri's cut is more like 1.5-2 million).Fighters would fight Pac anywhere if it means getting a 5 million dollar purse. Top Rank actually pay fighters pretty well
Speak more broadly, Pac's options are extremely limited and fighting Algieri will probably earn him just about as much money as fighting anyone else in the TR stable (besides Marquez).
My understanding is that the math for doing the fight in Macao is mostly rooted a giant site fee from the casino that is hosting the fight (also tax reasons). Say this fight does only ~400k buys; who can he fight that would realistically get him more than that?
