Seriously, the whole buildup is about what is gonna happen with Walt. That's what the whole season looks like it's going to be about. There's going to be a deterioration and consequences, but a death before the last episode? No way.

I don't even think Walt will die. I think someone close to him will, in turn driving him into becoming a full-on monster. Only thing he'll have left is the new empire he's created.

Yeah, I don't see any sense of Walt dying either. To fully complete this transformation, he has to be alive to see what he has become.

I definitely don't see him dying due to violence, if anything it'll be the lung cancer creeping back up on him.
I honestly think they're done with that. It was just the initiation of his transformation, I don't see why it should return.

I want the last scene to be of Walt in a new super-lab, 2-3 years after the aftermath of the colossal tragedy. Everything is running consistently and he's got new men working for him. He'll look sharp sporting a fullbeard/bald head reminiscing with thoughts of the past while buttering a piece of wholewheat bread.

All I know is if Walt isn't dead by the end, the final scene should include his Heisenberg hat.

No way they're done with the cancer stuff. And I really don't seeing the show ending on a high note for Walt.

will totally Facebook friend you! *giggle* *LOL*
Still hoping the final 16 have nothing to do with Walt cooking again. I guess I could see him being in management on some level, but I'd rather the show take a left turn away from the cooking. Giving how impossibly lucky he was to get out of it, I just can't see him ever having to go back realistically.

That last scene with Gus in season 4. :O

And I think that Walt will either die peacefully in his bed or by the hands of Hank (that would be the most dramatically one).

I don't see Walt dying in the final season. I think he needs to be alive to reflect on what he has become. There is some dramatic irony in the fact that his looming mortality was the catalyst for the transformation. He needs to be alive to appreciate that irony and realise what he has lost.

Some people might hate this comparison, but I just realised Breaking Bad is sort of like Death Note. Good guy transforms into bad, overcome with power, big dual of wits with rival, main character wins by successfully pulling off a huge twisted scheme etc.

'I am the one who knocks' scene is up there for me. I love the way Walt says it and how Skylar reacts.
That scene alone is Emmy worthy

His rationalization for doing what he does is he does it for his family, but he loves what he's become. But at the end of season 4 he sort of concluded something with his handshake with Jesse. Maybe their meth manufacturing career.

I have a feeling Walter is gonna have a bigger, meaner enemy that will be introduced at the beginning which'll cause Walt to get help of the guy who renews identities. Then the White family is gonna move to Denver while Walt stays in Abq to deal with things and continue business. He's still a brilliant man with a now an enormously heightened self-esteem (think 'I won'), and that should be fun to observe next season.

Actually, I don't think they'll be an introducing an enemy. It doesn't seem logical. Also, 16 episodes aren't enough to develop a whole new threat. It's going to be something pre-existing.

I only consider a new enemy because of Gus' mysterious past. Otherwise, I'd say another enemy could be redundant.

Yeah, I was wondering during Gus's flashback when Don Eladio says something like "The only reason you're not dead right now is because I know who you are." Plus Gus had a conversation with Mike where he was worried about the FBI finding his stuff from when he was in Chile. Maybe he comes from a huge drug family down in South America?

Well I think the 5th season will be about Walt Vs. Jesse and Walt Vs. Hank. I am so scared of Jesse dying, because I am betting on it happening.

One of my favorite shots of the show: The episode Walt is doing a lot of reconstruction on the house. Skyler is developing feelings/sexual attraction to Ted. Skyler intentionally knocks over pencils in order to get Ted's attention, she apologizes. Then it immediately transitions to a shot of Walt screwing in a nail. So good.

Season 5 being split in two definitely points to one half being focused on Walt and Jesse, and the other being on Walt and Hank. At least that's what I think.

And every scene in the show is so good. I love when Walt is outside of Gus's house, ready to kill him, and he puts on his Heisenberg hat. The music perfectly lines up with it.

I just hope Jesse make it to the finale. He is the reason I watch the show now. Would be tough to watch it if he's gone for me.

I think Jesse's got to go, unfortunately. For all the heinous stuff that Walt has done - killing dozens of people directly, hundreds indirectly, producing a terrible drug, letting Jesse's girlfriend die, poisoning Brock, putting his family in harm's way - there are still a lot of people who are rooting for him. What's the most effective, nay, the only way of making everybody hate him? He has to kill Jesse, and not in an act of self-preservation, but in a cold blooded way.

You really think Walt can just kill a person like Gus and get away with it squeaky clean?

Nah, he's gonna pay big time for that shit.

I don't care about Walt ot Jesse, they are the story so whatever happens to them will make sense and I'll be happy with it.

I want to see more of Mike and Saul, especially the former.

Spending at least the final episode with the whole this man left in the world, the vlaue of his life and what he meant to people... it could be powerful shit. Show how much he lost and how much he hurt people by showing their lives without him...
and show the drugs. still flowing. Those people wont be the ones who miss him.

It could work.

Oh wow, never thought about that.

How about Walt dies in the second to last episode? Then the last episode is like Skyler killing Hank to protect her family or something

Me and my GF just finished up season 2. She loved it. I've seen it before, it's her first viewing.

I almost cried at this part. Holy shit, such good acting.
