The hotel doesn't get AMC? Remember that they re-air the episodes multiple times throughout the week so you don't necessarily need to watch it on Sunday at 10.
If all else fails use iTunes.
I don't know if they do or not. I hope they do. It's on Sundays, so it shouldn't be a problem to watch it live....if they carry AMC. I'm more concerned about the hypothetical situation where they don't have AMC.
Buying it is not really an option for me. I am taking a 50% pay cut for these 4 months and will literally have negative amounts of extra money. Plus, I already pay for it....

This logic makes sense for abbreviations, not for acronyms. Even so, I know a lot of people who pronounce "char", short for character, as char like charcoal. Kills me every time, but lots of people do it.
This is better logic, but is incorrect on its face. Giant, ginger, gigantic, gibberish, gin, etc. I'm not aware of a simple near-universal rule for when a g should be soft or hard in relation to an i after it.
In the end, because CompuServe said so.

I knew this for years, but all the more reason to pronounce it in a more logical way that those douches didn't intend.
Another thing is Gigabyte. I think Webster even has a vocal pronunciation that says "Jiggabyte" (like Doc from BTTF). Sorry, I won't be caught dead pronouncing it that way.
