Did they though? She went through therapy for it. My assumption was she was dealing with it.

yeah, but that was it. Skyler never asked her how it was going. Hank never mentioned in conversation with her about therapy again. It just completely disappeared once she apologized to Skyler. Good to see it return.

Gotta feel bad for Marie, though. You know she doesn't want to go home.

Skyler is a better schemer than Walt at this point. Walt acts without thinking as much about it while Skyler is pretty meticulous and goal oriented. Interesting contrast.

As always Skylar is trying to gain control of her situation. However, as always she hasn't fully grasped what she is putting herself into as evidenced by asking Walt to confess.

This is her next I.F.T.

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
The Jesse story arc cheapens the show. That emo shit is lame and the acting is poor.

Do you criticize Walt for the same?

I'm not one of those people that needs "action" and "suspense" every episode...I appreciate the story and character building, specifically the stuff from mid-Season 2. Everything in this episode was uninteresting to me.

cant believe theyre revisiting the marie stealing shit plotline

yikes

jesse must have pretty relaxed neighbors for someone not to call the cops on that place lol

Pretty slow episode, but it had a few great moments. The scene with Jesse go karting and going back to his house was pretty awesome.

It looks like things will pick up next episode.

So was that Gus sitting in a car without his glasses on... him tailing/watching Walt? It scared the shit out of me that something was going to go down the last 5 minutes.

Tyrus, and he was watching Jesse's house.

I was just joking with my slow comment....but apparently people feel otherwise. Heh.

All of the characters are flawed in a similar fashion. Walt has a reminder of his naivete every time he looks in the mirror.

I root for them, but I know where this is heading.
It's why I like the show so much.

Ah ok. It flashed by so quick that I caught like a second of it after blinking once.

Looks like next episode will start the mid-arc buildup into the next great shit-show of Walter's life. I'm kind of excited by this, and I also wonder how much more Skyler will get involved in this, and if she'll get out before it's too late.

Episode was slow, but the build-up is unnerving.
The rate at which Marie is going crazy is just great too.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
A bit too much Marie in this episode. I'm not one to call this show "slow" as I really like the pace and all the characters, but this season is off to the least impressive start of any of them so far (if I had to rank). I know it'll get better, though.

Watching it again now since I missed a ton of dialogue thanks to Comcast shitty-ness.

yeah what the hell is going on here? Junkies going in and out, fights, loud music 24/7. Cops should be there repeatedly by now.

My bad if you weren't venting about Skyler. Lot of SKyler-hate here, so I might have mistaken your post for that.

This show is at the point where people are expecting every episode to be "holy shit did you see that", when it was never that type of show.

Did you see how she wasn't paying attention to Holly in the back seat? She was probably thinking about Ted's cock the whole time, that whore.

Weakest of the season so far but still a great episode. Was painful watching Marie break down as we really got to understand how psychologically broken she is. Skyler was awesome tonight too; she was definitely naive when talking with Walt and Saul but she was a smart negotiator.

And anyone who calls Aaron Paul's acting bad so far this season is just...ugh.

Slow, but entertaining episode.

Preview makes it seem like
Hank is totally onto Walt? And Gus puts a green light out on Jesse?

Yeah, sure :lol

The show is slow paced, and I love it. We all know it will get better lately, and by better I mean shit will happen.

I think the first real good episode from the last season was the 6th. The beginning was very slow also. It's still a great season.

Sepinwall's review is up.
A small part confused me on it, something that Sepinwall got that I didn't see at all. I'm going to spoiler it just on the off-chance that Alan accidentally included something that he'd seen in screeners.
And Hank - whether out of boredom with his new lifestyle or a desire to get out of the house and away from Marie's problems - picks up Gale's notebook and almost immediately sees the connection between this murder victim and Heisenberg.
Now, I was
even looking for that to happen at the end. I was expecting to see either Hank's face show a sign of suspicion or even for us to see some sort of drawing in the book connecting it to Heisenberg (maybe a note about how the product will be blue). Did Hank give off a little facial cue that I completely missed?

What is with purple in this episode. It is all over.. purple in every scene.
Marie has been like this since the very beginning of the show. Everything in her house is purple and she wears only purple

that's marie

you're just now noticing it?

I have honestly not noticed it.. Gonna have to go back and re watch other Marie focused episodes. Just seemed way over the top in this one, can not believe I did not notice it before.

I should point out that in this episode its not just her.. everyone is wearing purple it seems.

I love how Skylar is basically exposing how much a schmuck Saul is. Walt being sheepish is great too.

big ander: I didn't get that feeling from Hank's reaction. I'm guessing wishful thinking/most likely scenario. lol

i did notice the guy at the open house had a purple shirt.. i thought for sure she was gonna say something about it

but yeah she loves purple.. i noticed last week even her rubber gloves were people when she was cleaning lol

i find myself counting all the purple items

Good episode, but it kind of felt all over the place. *shrugs* The Fever Ray audio cue was perfectly placed.

Anyone else get the feeling Hank will show Walt the notebook to get his feedback on the "formulas" that the inspector mentioned?

Does anyone have a link to the preview that was shown right after the episode ended?

I missed it and It's not up on AMC's website.

Yup, I think they'll use have Walt buy some time by throwing him off his trail.

Hah okay. I don't remember how many episodes critics got at the beginning of the season, but I feel like it was only 3. So hopefully it's just Alan getting all fanboy excited on us
