Last shot of the series is Flynn, in only a green shirt and underwear, armed and waiting for cops to arrive to his RV cook spot in the desert.

Circular narrative, BITCH.

Really? I think we know enough, the specifics are unimportant. I can't see how Gray Matter would come up again in any meaningful way... That's like saying "I hope we learn more about Walt's relationship with his mom", are the few bits of info we have really not enough?

i just think they could use it as a parallel to whats happening in the present. It would be interesting.

S5 slogan: Walt isn't in danger, he is a danger... to himself.
No, season 5 will be about Walt trying to get rid of Jesse after he finally turns on Walt, and the tag will be "DISPOSE OF CHEMICALS CAREFULLY"

After I.F.W., the series can only go in one direction:

BREAKING BAD BABIES, 2015, AMC, STARRING MIKE'S GRAND DAUGHTER

Fixed. He survives and in BREAKING BAD BABIES, you only see him from the waist down as Walter III and and Pink Pinkman do what hooligans do best.

Season 5 should just combine all of them, whether they've been used or not.

Skinny Pete and Badger should really get their own spinoff series. With absolutely no explanation of how or why it's happened, they are charged with taking care of Holly by themselves in a small apartment. The crazy antics they get into each week will keep us entertained for years to come. Obnoxiously over-the-top laughtrack included.

Dude. SOLD.

I haven't read this thread since last night's episode aired, but before I give it a read through, I want to say this: if Hank dies at Gus' or Mike's hand, it's Walt's fault, as his absurd pride forced Hank to re-examine the case and clock the Los Pollos Hermanos link...

Last shot of the series:
Flynn clumsily trying to take care of Skylar. Walt is dead as fuck.
Jesse is tasked with raising baby Holly.

A lot of praise when out for the last episode's cinematography. I would also like to give som praise to the Foley work. Something about it worked really well. They complemented the silence if that makes any sense.

VVVAye. The parts in particular is during the first and last pickup. Maybe they just had some great mics though :]

Is Foley artificial sound effects work?

Why not Ted?
That's a pretty good suggestion as well.

I just see it as Jesse's fleeting chance at redemption. He would still screw it up, but he would be trying as hard as he could. There is no Bubbles styled reform in the cards for Jesse. It's also part of the burden Walt's decisions are going to place on Holly.

just fanciful speculation
no half-measured happy endings

Half hour Saul Goodman comedy every week. The Pilot begins with Saul discovering that Badger is his illegitimate son and through a bunch of legal hullabaloo, he's obligated to employ and live with him.

I'm actually glad it's done after this season. I would much rather the series keep its integrity instead of milking it and driving it down the hole. All in all, this season seems to be destined for greatness, and I sure hope it keeps up the pace. If Gilligan decides to do another show, who knows what he'll come up with next (though, I would say Cranston and Paul are almost physical manifestations of the show; their characters are too fascinating and realistically portrayed).

Also, was it me or did the show seem really real when Walter sniffed the cork after opening the bottle of wine? For some reason something hit me then, an I don't know what it was, but it just seemed like Walter is a real person at that moment.

There is still one season after this and IIRC it's even 16 episodes long. Or have I missed something :O ?

That's why Cranston keeps winning Emmys for this role. He really does amazing work inhabiting the character of WW.

Great ep. Jesse and Mike were awesome together and although it was predictable Jesse wasn't going to get killed, as was the fact that the "robbers" were testing his skills, it was a joy to watch. I think Mike is warming to him a bit and hating Gus as the days go by.

Skyler hate in this thread is still boring. She's still one of the best characters so people need to get over it.

I really hope Hank manages to put the pieces of the puzzle together this season... I really want him to get back on top of things.

Walk will be in the middle of the desert again. This time he'll shoot the cops because he thinks he's Scarface. Turns out they were just going to ask him if he needed help.
