Looks like Rolling Stone finally put up an online version of their print article on Breaking Bad:

- Chemical Brothers: 'Breaking Bad' Stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul
Inside the obsessive-compulsive soul of the most twisted show on television

I don't know. If they went by only the boxes he opened the day he was caught, that would only be one box. More likely they're using tape evidence of prior visits or the bank teller's memory to get warrants to open all the boxes.

Would there even be a camera in that room, though? Isn't it supposed to be private?

The room is inside a bank vault. I'm fairly sure there would be a camera in there.

I'm pretty sure in most banks the room where the boxes are housed is monitored. However, when a customer needs access to their box, they're escorted along with the closed box to a private room.

do any of the 9 have anything at all on Heisenberg?

The cops already know about the laundromat and Heisenberg was doing that, they know the blue stuff is still on the street, Mike is dead, fring is dead.

Does Walt have to worry at all about the 9?

Maybe the 9 know about Lydia?

They've probably heard rumors that would potentially point the cops in the right direction. "I heard he used to be a Chemistry teacher", "I heard he killed Gus Fring", etc...

I'm not sure if he'd know him by name, but the laundry owner could give a real solid description of Walt. I think that's the only one he really has to worry about directly and he's really the only one the show has focused on showing.

Is Kaylee still getting the money? Or has it been confiscated by good for nothing Gomez?

the audience doesn't know yet. before anyone replies with :well saul said": he has no way of knowing this fact. the lawyer couldve given mike up without necessarily giving up kaylees money.

And the bank lady may or may not recall the new box number (which was Kaylee's) and may or may not be willing to divulge it. She remembered all the usual box numbers except the last one, so who knows.

LMAO, from the article, I love these guys:

For a long time, Cranston expected Walt to die at the end – a reasonable prediction for a character with terminal cancer. "But then I started rethinking it, and I thought it wouldn't surprise me if the guy who is creating all this crap, the toxic avenger himself, lives. It wouldn't surprise me at all. The guy who should die, doesn't!"

If there's one thing no one's expecting, it's a happy ending. "This isn't going to be a fairy tale," Paul says, sipping his beer across from Cranston at the Irish bar. "But I know there will be a time where I'm not ever going to get to zip on this skin again, and I love Jesse so much. I really do."

Cranston breaks the solemnity: "For me, at the end of this," he says, "I just can't wait to get away from all these assholes."

"He's just saying that 'cause he's hurting deep, deep inside," Paul replies.

Cranston smiles, looking absolutely nothing like Walter White. "No," he says. "I'm not."

Concerning Mike's money for Kaylee, here's a quote from Saul from last episode:

"Never say never, kid. This is the second time the DEA has confiscated his bankroll."

So, the writers are definitely implying his money is gone. And, remember, Mike's lawyer is talking, he's most likely told the police about Mike's drug money.

edit: nvm, I see there's this particular evidence is already being discussed. Still, I think it's convincing enough that Kaylee wont be getting the money.

Actually, the more I think about it, the lawyer must have told the police about Mike's money. The police know that Mike was involved with Gus' drug operation, but they lack hard evidence. We see in an earlier episode that Mike doesn't want the lawyer to be in the "know," because he covers his ears with ipod earphones blaring music when Mike's talking his men in prison. That must mean his lawyer must only have very vague information about Mike's place in Gus' drug business. So when the police are telling the lawyer that the only way he gets a deal is if he gives up some good evidence about Mike - evidence that they can use in court, like 5 million dollars showing up for Mike's name out of nowhere - it's likely that he would give up the little he does know about, which is Mike's money. There's no indication that this lawyer wouldn't be willing to give up all he knows to insure he gets the best deal he can.

LMAO, from the article, I love these guys:

This article is fucking great. One of my favorite parts is when they are at the bar. Cranston says we just gave the waiter meth money.

If they don't say she isn't getting the money I am going to assume she is. Just because it will make me feel a little better.

Look at puddles for an example, he was always able to construct arguments as to why Walts actions were justified (no matter how ridiculous they were) but when it came to Mike he drew a complete blank.

It was really fun to roll Team Walt, especially in Season 3. It got a little harder, but not impossible, after the Brock poisoning. But in Season 5, Gilligan has nerfed Team Walt to the point where it's just not fun anymore. Unlike some of our esteemed colleagues on the Gaming Side, I prefer to just drop a hobby when I'm no longer having fun with it.

There's a spoiler in the article above about the opening of Season 5 and it is indeed what some of us were thinking:
Gilligan told Cranston that in the opening, he comes back to protect someone, probably Jesse I'd say.

Speculation:
I'd say he'll probably die saving Jesse. I'm sure Hank will find out, and he burned bridges with Skyler and could never be in the lives of his kids anymore legally. If he gets wind that there's a hit on his family all he needs to do is tip off the DEA. There's no one else to protect but Jesse.

He returns later with our check. "It was awesome meeting y'all – can I ask, did y'all go to acting school to do this show?"

"I just learn off of him," says Paul.

"I was sold into the business as a baby," says Cranston.

"Hey, yo, I was just curious, man," the waiter replies. "Y'all's show shows a lot of truth."

They leave the guy a $20 tip – though Cranston can't resist a bleak joke. "We're giving him meth money," he says.

Who wouldn't want to be friends with these guys.

Interesting, that at least resurrects some theories of why he goes back. Exciting. Can't wait till we get to the flash forward.

referring to vince vaguely telling cranston why walt goes back

yeah actually I didn't like reading that, it's pretty much a spoiler I think.

it's at the bottom of page 4 for those that want to read the article.

ehh I don't think it's that huge a spoiler. It's very vague. Could still be so many things. It does make me more hyped though :(

gonna be a tough wait folks. But we will manage.

Holy smokes! Just watched the last two episodes! Good job writers. I now want walt to just stop!!! Wow. Never has a character for me gone from i hope he wins to Gosh beat the crap out of him!

I'll get over just about any horrible thing that could happen as long as Jesse somehow survives. A big ol' bro-fist just before Walter checks out.

So at this point, we can all agree that Walter is a nice guy taking care of his family and Skyler is an evil bitch / slut, right??

Walter is a man over his head who has lost his moral compass long ago.

Skyler is an unintelligent coward who should have left with her children long ago if she truly cared about their safety and not profiting off of Walt's work. Hell Walt is never home she could have taken them and left basically any day and still could if she wasn't a dumbass.

They are horrible spouses and both would have left the other if they had any sense. Thing is only Walt is enjoyable to watch, Sky is just annoying whenever she is on screen.

GTFO with your hyperbolic trolling.

Does Walt have to worry at all about the 9?

One of them should know enough about Walt and Jesse to have them both nailed. Specifically, the guy that was overseeing the laundromat plant where Jesse and Walt cooked while employed under Gus. Coincidentally, he was the first of the 9 with whom Mike spoke when visiting his guys in prison to assure them that their danger pay was coming.

Finally unbanned, wanted to share my thoughts for the last few episodes. Mike getting got, Walter turning totally evil, that heist, holy crap this season has been so good.

Finally caught up with the series yesterday, and I'm all ready for the grand half-finale. This show just keeps on getting better and better with every season. The only thing that didn't quite click for me was the end of episode seven - Mike's death scene felt like they really had to rush it through.

Does anybody actually think Walt is a badass anymore? The way he shot Mike (and apologized immediately after) and the "say my name" part just comes across as bumbling buffoon who is in way too deep.

This whole season has just been mistake after mistake. He's just digging his own grave at this point since the methlymene incident.

He thinks he's a badass and he has his moments, but when it comes down to it yeah he's still just scared all the time.

Those are the thoughts you wanted to share when you were finally unbanned?
Reminds me of elementary school book reports that just a list of everything that happened...

He went to post "MIKE JUST GOT SHOT" at the time it happened but when he saw the banned notice he just punched a wall.
