He was a transphobic, homophobic, sexist, anti-union, pro-cop, anti-bike, wife-beating, drunk-driving, authoritarian bigot who was a national disgrace. I'd be lying if I said I was sad.

what's crazy about this list is that it's all corroborated, AND you even left out the crack

regardless of opinions, he was elected Mayor

I see no problem with a City Hal repose

put partisan politics aside for a day

He was elected mayor, but did nothing during his time there to deserve such an honour

Why do we have to suffer? He represented etobicoke, make them live that shame.

He fought for that extension like his mayorship depended on it, it's a shame we all share.

Don't blame me, I voted for kodos!

And the rest of council stripped him of power. I don't want him honored at all.

He was human scum, a blight on the city, and stain we have to hold in the history books. In death he does not need to be held up as if he did any actual good for the city.

According to Rob Ford's daughter, at his funeral, he's "the mayor of heaven now".

I in no way want to disparage her vision, as his kid, but that mental image gives me a completely different view on things. "Angel dust", specifically.
