I don't think leaving would be the disaster people have been saying, but it would accelerate the UKs depressing slide towardshow isolationism, racism and anti immigrant sentiment. And will accelerate me becoming an American citizen so long as the US doesn't elect Trump. Because there would be no moral high ground to be had standing with Trumpnation.

Even if we vote to Leave I feel like this may be a high watermark for parties like UKIP. It's hard to blame free movement of people etc if we pull up the drawbridge, maybe people would be more self reflective after that.
 
I'm terrified. I can barely remember the last time an election went the way I voted. Please remain.

Crap, you've just made me realise that every time I've voted I've never won. Well, I've voted for the winning MP but that MP has never been a representative of the overall winning government.

Six months ago, I would have said that Remain would have walked this and that Trump had no chance of getting nominated. How times change, eh?
