Who is planning the daytime stuff?
I quite fancy chilling out in Victoria park and maybe grabbing some tasty lunch. Anyone want to throw some ideas in the mix?

Oooh un-banned, welcome back.

Be up for doing something in the day especially if its nice.

I will actually do daytime stuff this year cos I like y'all so much now. Beer in the aprk sounds good to me!
I haven't been to our fair capital in years, so I'm following you guys! But yeah, outdoors stuff and some kick ass grub sounds like just the ticket.

I'm getting into Kings Cross just before midday, I think I'm planning on meeting up with Tash and however else is there that early.

What time are people planning on landing in London?

Edit: shorty, you're going to be in London fairly early then. Fancy meeting me at King's Cross around 12? You can be my tour guide!

You arriving at King's Cross at 12 on the saturday? I'll be arriving around 2pm on the Friday so yeah, we can meet up at King's Cross at 12pm. Gives me a good excuse to get out of bed early.

I'll meet people at midday if that's looking like the plan.

Beer, sun (fingers crossed) and generally merriment should be just the ticket.

Am looking forward to seeing you goons!

So me, shorty, mike and Tash meeting at King's Cross at 12 on sat. Excellent. Looking forward to it gents, should be a good weekend!

What are you up to on Friday night?

Gonna be meeting an old primary school friend during the afternoon/evening. That should give Musha plenty of time to get home from work and have a rest for a bit before she meets me at her local train station. After I've dropped off my bag I got nothing planned. Would love to head to the The Intrepid Fox again or at least that gaming bar if we're not going to that on the meetup...or any really cool London hangout bar/pub really.

I'm kind of thinking I might just drive it, as I'm crashing with JT, so can drive home the next day.

Fancy staying in London overnight? I know you generally prefer your own bed, but...

My instinct is to say no but we'll see how drunk/tired I am by night. If I'm feeling it then I might well be up for an all-nighter. I can't imagine getting to JT's before three and then it's only a ill bit till morning. That is, if he'll have me! We'll see :)

If you're at a loose end or want somebody to hang out with I might come into London on Friday night and see if I can stay somewhere for t'evening.
Let me know what your plans are and I'll try to sort something out. Wallet allowing, of course!

edit: We also need to get some solid plans for the evening in place. What's the latest consensus?

Mike you can stay at mine Friday.

I'm all up for going out and doing whatever Friday night, but I'm going to London Film and Comic Con Saturday so won't be joining you for any shennanigans in the day.

Tried Loading, the gaming cafe mentioned, but they have an event on the Saturday night so the place will be rammed. Without going back to places we've been before I'm out of suggestions.

Alright. July 6th is going to be a hard bargain for me now. Things are going well getting out of here, but I'm going to need them to go unbelievably well to get everything done in time for me to be there. I think we all need to just push everything back a week. Okey dokey? Cool.

Borderline is a good idea, it's central.

If we can't think of anywhere else to meet early evening then De Hems will probably do.

mmm they sell Lindeboom, that shit is delish. Took my lady there when we were up last.

Borderline sounds like a good one to me, some classic britpop always goes down a treat. They better play Echobelly!

ooo, I've just seen that my mate's awesome band is also playing london at the Hope and Anchor on the 6th. Anyone fancy splitting off from the main group for an hour to go see some noise? :P

Must remember to arrange for somewhere to sleep next week, be nice to get things sorted in advance instead of doing things last minute like usual.

I might be able to pick you up if needed. Depends on what time you are aiming to come in. I got things on Friday night...just not sure how bad I will be on Saturday morning...

Thanks, I'll know more nearer the time. The only potential spanner in the works is that it's my brothers birthday the Thursday before so the family might be arranging something for that weekend.

What's a good spot for a hotel for the night? easy to get to from wherever the fuck we are going to be?

There is a jurys inn over in Angel.

I know during the week its like £125, not sure on weekend though. Its not central but there are so many buses that go right by it or near it that it makes it easy from central london. It is still Zone 1 though. I'll have to take that bus as that's around where I live.

No problem, just let me know.

This is a good idea, plus China Town is close by so we can grab some grub before hand.

Hooly shit, I forgot you're coming!

No rooms on the 6th, thanks anyway though. A box with a shower and a pillow is all I need, as long as it's not in the ghetto.

So do we know what area we will be going to in the evening, wanna book up a room relatively close to where ever we will be stumbling out of.

If he is smart he'll come after the trip to Deader than Sega World where all the 2p coins have been used up in an attempt to win a year old Chupa Chups.

Anthony used my 2p to win that fucking lolly and I didn't even get a suck!! Outraged.

So - plans!

I'm going to be meeting a few of you lovely people (shorty, deaf spacker, NinjaBoi, Jordan, others?) at midday at King's Cross.

We're probably going to saunter on over to Regent's Park (via some kind of off-license?) and relax in the sun (WHICH WILL BE PRESENT), maybe grab some lunch.

Does anyone have anything specific they want to do in the day? Suggestions welcome!

I will probably join up with you at midday, best way to kings cross? Gonna be on the train from Guildford to Waterloo.

What is the dress code like in these places Musha? Will shoes be necessary, or are smart trainers fine?

I don't want to mess about bringing extra footwear if it's not needed, I'm only bringing a rucksack.
