Maida Vale is definitely up there on the list of areas with a balanced central:nice ratio.

It was years before I learned that it wasn't actually called "Made of Ale." I was really disappointed. Are you anywhere near the pub with the crazy layout? It's got, like, sections and five different entrances and-- oh, it's just crazy.

Skyfall is so fucking good. I love everything about it. Well, except that one bit with the CG- you know which bit- but even that's fun in a daft way. Haven't seen anything that so perfectly combines the past and the future of a series quite so well.

So do London kids trick or treat?
My last flat was in the back and not accessible to anyone on a main road. Right now I live in a split level off a somewhat main road so its easily accessible by kids if they ring the door bell.
Wondering if I should expect any trick or treaters and get the candy ready. Then again, my upstairs neighbors tend to be on the ball with that kind of thing.

The interview lasted 2 and a half hours, including 30 minutes for writing a demo press release. Spoke to the directors of marketing and product planning. I should get an email in the next few days and I'm hopeful that I did enough.
We rarely ever opened the door during halloween over at Fife because the majority of trick or treaters were 16 year old classmates from the ghetto neighbourhoods nearby and all they wanted was money. No money = house gets egged. Give them sweets? house still gets egged. And it's not like they put any fucking effort into their costumes. 1 semi-ripped white shirt and red/black shit smeared on their face. Thats..it. We'd just ignore the doorbell if we knew it was anyone above 12 year olds.

I used to go trick or treating when I was a small kid in Wales. I don't get any now cos I live on the top floor of a block of flats with no access to the general public.

Disney will probably do a lot better with Star Wars as an IP than anything Lucas manged after the first 3 movies.

Disney will ignore the EU and trample all over it. I will be amazed if they don't turn out worse than 1-3.
EU is being ignored, but I wouldn't want a rehash of what I've already read - I'm happy to see what their take on it is.
Honestly, can they do any worse than Lucas has done with SW for the past couple of decades?
The EU sounds dumb as shit to me, just a bunch of bad writers consistently trying to one up each other.
