Well shit guys, I just found out my nan died. Feels kinda weird. We only found out she was ill a few days ago, she had lung cancer. She lives up north so my mum and her sister went up to see her this morning but got there too late, she died in the morning.
It's conflicting. On the one hand, she was bitter and twisted and was a long running family joke about how she was just gin-fueled evil, but on the other hand she was my nan, you know? She used to take me to france every year as a kid. Last I saw her was at the end of the summer where I helped her walk around a park she used to play in as a kid. I'm happy we did that.
Feel worse for my mum really - she was my weird nan, but she was her weird mum.

she's an odd duck in that she's very private but I'll do my best to help her get through it. She's lucky she's with her sister who is also her best mate.I've never had anyone die before that I knew and liked, it's an odd feeling.
Even worse we also found out that my favourite uncle has got a terminal illness and maybe a couple of years left, it's a bit of a shit year for the Sniv family. Which makes me feel a little guilty since I'm having a personal-best of a year so far
