Hope BritGAF are doing well this fine Friday morning! I'm back at work for a day before the weekend - almost wasn't worth it, but it's good to show willing. I'm gonna beat Musha to the punch today - what are y'all doing for this weekend? It's a weird one given that most people are probably still nursing hangovers from new years.
Me, I've got the weekend off from music so instead I'm going to be working on the back cover for our CD. I likes the arts and crafts. That and getting over this bastard new years cold :|

Not sure about Sunday yet, but if I can find the motherfuckin' V5 document for my old car (where the fuck is it?!?!!) then I'm going to be scrapping that so I can get my new one onto the driveway

Tomorrow I am going to Go Outdoors to buy some thermal undergarments for my upcoming snowboarding holiday. Them I'm venturing in to Croydon for a friend's birthday, bowling then Chiquitos.

Friday already!
Got so much project work lined up: fitting out back room of the shop, getting online shop going, sorting the damn garden out if we ever get a water table that's below ground level for a change, advertising strategy - and to add to it all got some urgent trust and probate stuff owing to a recent death in the family.
Plus the shop, plus the ironing.
To think I chucked in paid employment owing to the stress!
Think I will go cook a casserole instead.

They can decide the haircut looks terrible on the third day. Suddenly your opinion of "that looks fantastic" is considered a mark against you.
Me, personally? I tell them exactly what I think, good or bad. But if bad, I'll only say if asked.

And you get it wrong about a haircut you are suddenly exposed to being (potentially) wrong about everything else.
If the SO gets a haircut the only thing you can even more seriously fuck up is failing to recognise them in the street (been there, done that). [EDIT, but not with the current SO (wife), just need to make that clear.]
EDIT AGAIN: It's like the graphics v gameplay thing. "You look good today" is OK, it is about the person - "Oh, have you done something to your hair? That looks great!" is the kiss of death as it says somewhere in the subconscious that (a) you value the hair more than the person, (b) you hated her previous hairdo, (c) you haven't noticed that she hates the new hairdo, (d) you actually value hairdos (which equals additional cost). Unless you shut the fuck up you are in a no-win.

I finally decided last semester to stop having long hair. Was getting really tired of it, it's got a little longer again but by no means "long".
Also, on the 20th March I may be in London, Louis C.K's finally playing the UK but so far it's only been confirmed he's playing the O2.
Where's cheap to stay? Have another friend going too and he's gonna be down for the whole week so something that accommodates that too.

Far Cry 3 (360)
Just started the second island. Loving it so far. Plan to finish it.
Sleeping Dogs (PS3)
Played a few hours, Giant Bomb quick look got me wanting to check it out again.
Saints Row The Third (PS3)
Put 90-odd hours into the PC version and then watching the missus play it on 360 made me want to replay it. Bought the complete version on PS3 and now I'm going for a 100% run.
Resistance (Vita)
Just to get it out of the backlog. I think I'm about halfway through. It's meh.
Gravity Rush (Vita)
Same as above. Quit through boredom towards the end and now just want to finish it to say I've finished it.
It'll be my first gaming weekend in MONTHS. Can't wait!

Btw, there's a good chance that Louis CK will be doing another show in a smaller comedy club venue the night before the O2 show. Seinfeld (London Comedy Store) and Chris Rock did it when they had shows at the O2.

How big is the O2? Seems a bit of a soulless shed for comedy. I like my laughs like I like my music, in a small dark sweaty room.

It's pretty big, but it has a really good sound, no matter where you sit you'll hear good. But I agree, I'm not a fan of arena tours, especially with bands. So impersonal.
I have tickets for BoM, I think there are still tickets left but not many and they'll be shit seats or stupidly expensive.

Was I really the only BritGAFer to be watching celeb BB last night then? I feel kinda dirty... It was a glorious car crash of shouting at the telly and making Gillian Taylforth jokes. And they actually managed to find a glamma model that doesn't make me want to become a violent misogynist, she seems very sweet. Plus Toadfish. Come on!
Floor seats at the O2 aren't too bad but the normal seats looks too far from what I can remember. And yeah, there are still tickets to BoM but the majority of the good ones for the earliest shows are gone. Its running until the end of May and those shows are empty for now.

I'd quite like to get some fireworks and set them off in her, but I'm fairly sure that would go wrong in all kinds of spectacular ways. If only it weren't on our property, I'd consider trying it anyway.
