So yeah. I have a goal of not using any supermarkets for a month. So far, it is paying off pretty well.
I just brought four large white sub rolls, beetroot, courgettes, lettuce, spring onions, tomatoes, potatoes, three peppers, a melon, cucumber and carrots. How much did that all cost? £4.70.
I also got a fuck off massive gammon steak from the butchers for a fiver. Going to use half of it to make a slow cooking casserole tomorrow, and the rest I'll cook for sandwich meat for the next few days.
So to summarize: Cheaper, better quality stuff, and I'm forced to be creative with cooking. Hooray.

Just phoned up an estate agent about securing a house in a dodgy area of London for uni. I'm terrible at phonecalls, so making one that involves eventually handing over money in the thousands is something I become fairly terrified about.

My friends have no sense of urgency and seemed to think it would be a lot easier when I was shouting at them in May. I'm just happy we're getting it done.
